Final Payment - confirmation ?

Hi

we made our final payment last night - in the "manage my booking" section of the website, it shows that we are paid in full and our bank account has the amount as a pending transaction.

What I find strange is that we did not receive email confirmation of the payment - when we booked and paid the deposit a few months ago, we received an email from Disney Travel confirming the booking plus a second email from Worldpay confirming the payment had been made - in both instances the emails were received virtually within minutes of the transaction.

Also, I seem to recall (but could be mistaken) that when we paid the deposit on the website, we were redirected to Worldpay and had to go through the "Verified by Visa" process to confirm the transaction - this did not happen last night, and in fact as soon as we had entered our card details and submitted we got a message on screen thanking us for our payment.

Does anyone else have a similar recent experience in paying the balance ?

i didnt get an email to confirm final payment either

if the payment stays pending then it will come back to your account within a few days, call disney and advise them.
 
Yes same here, no reciept for balance payment but they took payment OK & got my docs a couple of weeks ago.
 
I didn't get an email after mine, but got a letter about 5 days later. I've never received emails from Disney though, they've only contacted me through post in the past.
 

We didn't get a confirmation email and after over a week of waiting for the final invoice to turn up (11 days) I rang them and the lovely lady said allow 7-10 working days and she would request it again. That was last Friday and guess what it arrived on Monday morning so whatever she did worked it even has last Friday's date on the invoice. Now that's what I call a great service :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:goodvibes:goodvibes I did explain I was a little worried that if the invoice went missing I was going to be very concerned about our;);) tickets and accomodation vouchers etcetera. She said we'll get them at the latest 7-10 working days before we go but more likely about 4 weeks in advance.

So here I am counting down the days and asking DH about a FairFX card:worship: I'm so exited I'm not sleeping much at the moment.You guys get hold of some real gems of information which all helps to create a smoother holiday :wave2::thanks::disrocks: If any of you want to follow us on our semi-live trip reports you are all welcome to join us online from our hotel.
