For those who have cruised through Port Canaveral if the ship docks at 7:30am, what time can you expect to arrive at MCO? I’d like to book my flight home as early as possible, but don’t want to risk missing it. TIA

The ship docks much earlier than that and people are already off the ship by 7:30. If you're using DCL transfers, then I wouldn't choose a flight home earlier than 11:30- noon. MCO security is known to be pretty long; I have TSA pre-check and I was still there for 45 mins.

We flew out of MCO the middle of December last year. TSA was very long and it was a Wednesday. Is the construction done and are both monorails running? When we flew, only one was operating creating long lines to the gates but that may be over by now. Even if you arrange private transportation, I wouldn't chance an earlier than 11:00am flight. Our family jokingly says, better to be bored at the gate than panicked in the TSA line!

We made a 10:40 am flight in March, but we were the second family off the ship, walked our luggage off, had a private car waiting and have TSA pre-check. MCO can be a nightmare in the mornings with security lines down to the food court. If you don’t have pre-check and you’re planning on putting your luggage out at night, I wouldn’t schedule a flight earlier than 11:30
