Does anyone know if the water from the studio wet bar is ok tasting - or is it the same as the fountain water in the parks?
If not, is there filtered water available at the resort for us to fill out bottles (trying to be environmentally friendly)?

We thought the water from the wet bar tasted nasty. Even our coffee the first morning tasted off. After that, we took our mugs down to the food court and filled them with the filtered water there and used that to make our coffee. It was much better.

The water does taste nasty. That's why we keep a Brita filter pitcher in our Owner's Locker. I use it daily to make coffee. You could consider bringing a Brita water bottle.

It's tap water. It's a kitchenette. not a wet bar specifically for beverages.

Bring your own Britta filtered pitcher.

If you are flying, a Brita pitcher is quite space consuming- I would consider one of the tap mounted filters - it pops on in just a minute, and you take it with your when you leave. OR you can go to REI or another outdoors store and buy a backpacking filter system - very space saving, yet the same quality of water filtering.

OR... you could just buy a few gallons of water if you are driving!

We don't like Florida water at all. We keep a large Brita pitcher in our storage unit for our WDW trips. Not sure if you could buy the type that screw onto the faucets or not, but you could definitely purchase some of the smaller water bottles that filter water.

Well, this all seems quite definitive! I thank you all for the feedback!
Since we are flying southwest and are entitled to 2 free bags per person, I think we'll bring a brita pitcher filter!

We get cases of water. Hess has them onsite at a reasonable price if you don't do a grocery run.
Then we take bottles everywhere, it's cheaper than disney bottled soda or water.

We combine the above suggestions and bring Brita bottles. You can get free ice water from counter service restaurants and pour it right into your bottle. Another plus is that you can take them through airport security empty and fill them in the terminal area for your flight.

ThoseRethe ones we have and we LOVE them. We bought them for vacation but find we use them all the time.

we have those same water bottles and love them. I don't like the taste of the florida water. I got a clip to hang them on my bag and carry them around everywhere. We also use them to make coffee in the morning.

We drink the tap water. It's far better than it was a few years ago.
