Fill me in on check-in (BCV)

We are staying onsite the Saturday night before we check-in to the BCV. So at what time should I go over and formally check-in? I vaguely remember hearing comments about rooms being "first-come, first-serve", even though they aren't ready til 4? And isn't Sunday a big check-in day for DVC?

very big check in day....most members check in that day.

they will let you check in at 7:00am - be there if you can at that time - doesn't mean you will get a room - but then the check in is gone and you can go to the parks or DD or just look around the resort until your room is ready.

Hi- You're right, Sunday is a big check-in day for all the DVC resorts. We've found that it's a good idea to stop by before 4:00 and try to check in. Between noon and 2pm has worked for us. Sometimes a room will already be available, sometimes not; but at least you've got your place "in line." One word of advice- if the room is not ready, be sure to get their number to call and see when it is ready. You'll probably have to call them a time or two to get in ASAP.
