If this legal adult had a gash bad enough to need stitches, there's no telling how much blood-loss there was. He could conceivably have been in shock from different aspects of the injury - maybe he faints at the sight of blood, maybe he lost a pint, etc.) The CMs (First-Aid RNs?/Paramedics?) were not present when the guest was injured, did they have all the necessary information?
It's interesting that transport stops at 6pm. Do all on-property injuries stop then?
