Figuring out this "Magic Your Way" thing..

In a way, this new Magic Your Way deal has alot of perks.
If only it were not so confusing though.....

I am I understanding that, when booking the new "packages", you add your resort, ticketing, and any meal plan desired all seperately?
Does that mean, I could drop the first and last days and save money by not having to buy park tickets for those days?
(Unlike the former Disney package that gave you the UPH tickets for your entire length of stay whether you needed all the days or not)

Also, we each have a UPH ticket that WL gave us at checkout because we lost a day during Hurricane Jean. Will those tickets still be usable for us?
If so, I can save even more money!!!

If I understand the new MYW ticketing system, you should be able to buy tickets only for the days you know you are going to be in the park. I'm not real clear on how the packages are going to work, but I would assume they would do away with the length of stay passes and use the new MYW tickets.

Your UPH should still be good as there are no expirations on previous tickets.

I hope you get to go in 2005. More pixie dust your way!!

As far as the packages go, you can custimize it in many ways. No longer does you park ticket have to match the number of days your staying. If you are staying 7 nights and only want to go to the park for 4, you can do that. That is the whole point of the new tickets and packages, letting the person mold the tickets and package the way they want no Disney.

For the Room/ Ticket/ Dining packages, your tickets can be any number of days you want them to be... they are totally customizable to your needs. If you choose to add the dining option, the dining portion is for the entire length of your stay and can not be modified but the Tickets are totally up to you...

As for your tickets from the Hurricane. They are still valid and can be used whenever you want to use them
