My wife was getting the Department 56 Christmas Disney village out a few days ago so we could plan where to put it this year (we added a few pieces after Christmas last year and need a bigger space) and a thought crossed my mind: "How can you have a Disney village without a Mickey Lamp Post?!"

So...

A quick trip to the hobby store later:

The white ball at the base of the post will be covered with snow to match the rest of the village.

Yeah, I may work on getting it a little shorter. I was going to look into different LEDs to use until I was throwing away one of my daughter's light up MK balloons yesterday. The LED light they use was perfect, just a little too tall.
