Monorails are back up they were down for three hours because Red and yellow were broken down. It took them 2 hours to get yellow out of the MK station!!

Small correction it was red that too nearly two hours to remove yellow needed removing as well however!

how do they expect to justify outrageous roomrates at monorail resorts when occurances like these happen more frequently. Granted, when I was at Bay Lake a couple of weeks ago there were only two issues (one wasn't Disney's fault a tree fell on a substation) but how much longer until these trains combust to nothing

That's how it is with everything although you'd think a huge company like Disney would look ahead and see the potential lawsuit due ri their aging vehicles

You know something just dawned on me regarding the monorails and their closing earlier.

Monorails is a 2 shift op, 1st and 2nd shift. I'm wondering if there was something in the lawsuit settlement regarding fatigue of CM's. Maybe during the settlement they agreed to terms that either were forcing them to create a 3rd shift (no way they would shell out that kind of money) or make sure CM's were working more regular hours and not too such ridiculous times?

When I worked in the Dept FT I could be required to go in and work 1pm to 8pm, the next day I could be required to go in at 8pm and work until 4 or 5am.

There is no proof behind what I am saying, its just something I am throwing out there as a possible thought.

At MK it was supposed to be the last day but the whole world panicked over Irene and our flight was canceled! Are stay will be extended!!!

No one listened to me especially Chris Christie who declared a state of Emergency what a joke!

Hurricanes hardly ever make it to NJ and as I predicted it will be a tropical storm by the time it reaches NJ like always!!!

Right now we can't get a flight till Thursday but I dint mind an extra 5 days in the World!

We ate becoming soft ad a people if we ate panicking over a topical storm!!

I'll never shop at Petsmart again Simba is at the Puppy hotel they told us if we didn't pick him up by 9:00 last night they would abandoned him there during the storm!

Luckily my parents picked him up!!
