Figment Reveal/Mystery Pins

Hi - I have a question about the new Figment Reveal/Mystery collection that was released on the 13th of January. From what I've read, Disney 'revealed' 10 of the designs and kept 10 a mystery before the release date. Each of the boxes contains 2 pins.

So my questions:
1. Does each box contain one of the revealed design and one of the mystery design?
2. Is it a completely blind buy or was the box constructed such that you know which of the 'revealed' designs you are getting?
3. Are the same two pins always paired together?

i dont know about the new mystery pins but all the packages of mystery pins i have bought at wdw over the years are sealed and you cant see what you are getting

i dont think you will get the same pairs together in the packages i would imaginge they are put in randomly

As I only bought a few of them...
I am not sure if the mystery pin is always the same.
There are 2 pins in each box..
one revealed and one concealed.
In the reveal/conceal collections..[there are others]..
You pick the box you want with the "reveal " pin showing in an open box.
the Reveal pin is a 3D pin with moving or animated parts...
they are about 1 1/2 " around.
then..attached to it in the back..
as it is firmly attached..
I doubt if they are randomly placed there.
is a mystery bag pin..
The ones that i have opened are about the same size as the revealed pin..
but they are not moving pins.
The collection is too new right now..
to know if certain..concealed pins..
are rare or not.

I am planning to buy a set tomorrow. I was told Sunday by a fairly reliable source that:

1) The reveal/hidden are on a one-to-one situation. So Reveal 1 will always be paired with Hidden "A" and revealed 10 will always be paired with hidden "J". So my buying one of each reveal will get me one of each hidden. And,

2) The boxes, although sealed have a window so you can see the revealed pin. So I only have to buy ten to get the complete set of all 20 pins.

I will report on the actual results tomorrow. So maybe we don't have to put out a contract on Stephen Miller.

Cheshire Figment - if you have a moment, after you purchase a set, could you let me know if each box has a different SKU or if they're all the same that would be very helpful in determine how best to go about mail ordering a set. I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

When I bought the pins today all ten boxes were identical, with the SKU of each the same (4000000952239). And on the Register Tape each one said MYST FIGMENT SET and I saw that each was scanned separately at the Register.

The "revealed" pins are all either pin-on-pin or lenticular or some special effect. All of the hidden pins are scenes from the original Journey Into Imagination and some of them include Dreamfinder as well as Figment.

So I did get all ten of the hidden pins.

I checked with Merchandise Mail Order and they could ship them, although since they go from a warehouse they could not promised that ten different boxes would be shipped. The price for the ten would be $199.50 plus $29.95 shipping (UPS Ground). If out of state there would be no sales tax.

Thanks! I had wondered how that would handled if the pins were ordered via Mail Order. Do you know if there is a way to directly order from one of the pins stores (like Epcot's pin central or DTD) so that the 10 different designs could be ordered?

There is a seller on ebay..who is selling them for 20 bucks..
[they can as there is a CM discount]
perhaps you can ask him what he has..
the shipping has got to be cheaper than that.
