FIESTAWARE ?S...WHICH COLORS MATCH & ANYONE ORDER FROM....

I bought cobalt cups and saucers from www.megachina.com and they are great!
The bug does get to you. Right now, I'm thinking of buying the disc pitcher and other serving pieces in different colors. To think I used to hate Fiestaware :lmao: Well,it just goes to show that with age comes wisdom!! :woohoo:

Can I move in with you? Never mind I don't think my DH will really like that. He already threatened to take my Visa away if I keep ordering.

We bought ours slowly over about 3 trips to the store. The seconds store we visit usually runs some great deals like buy 4 get the 5th one free. Plus seconds are usually half the price of regulars, and since we could pick our own we inspected each one carefully.

I just bought some a few weeks ago......I got the yellow, tangerine, red, cobalt, and the green.....I LOVE them.
I got the dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and these cute little bowls along with coffee mugs... I just bought one of each and can't wait to get back for more! I think I might add the dark blue......I am not sure.

I have all colors as well. I buy individual plates, etc... so I can have one of each color. When we remodeled our kitchen a few years ago my one requirement was a plate rack so that I could display my Fiesta 'rainbow' of plates.

I got 2 more for mothers day....persimmon and plum.

My daughter made me breakfast and served me on my new dishes ....

:cheer2:

Does anyone know if this is that same Fiesta ware that penney's sell? I've been eyeing that in the catalog. I was thinking of the white, but is it white or a creamy color? I can't tell from the book. Also if anyone has the white, does your silverware scratch it all up? I currently have pfaltzgraff and my silverware has put lovely gray scratches all over my dishes.

Thanks! :)
Yes, JCPenny catalog does sell it. I bought a couple of serving pieces from them. They are cheaper if you buy 2 or more and I must have had a coupon.
I have a white disk pitcher that I display and a white chop plate trimmed in cobalt, tangerine, cinnabar and sunflower (I think that's it--would have to look to know for sure)--I use it as a smaller serving platter. BTW, the chop plate was called "cobalt tones", it took me forever to get it. I found out that it was made only for Amazon, so if you are a complete Fiesta addict, you may want to keep on the look out for these sorts of pieces. Back to the ?--it is regular white, not a cream or bisque color. Plain, regular white. I don't use silver much on the chop plate, but I would not be concerned with scratches as much as with the darker colors. I love my Fiesta, but the darker colors if used often will show surface scatches.

To the OP: When I first started buying Fiesta, I went to a dept. store and took several of thier display pieces and put the colors I was thinking about together. If you have a background color you want to compliment, grab a placement of a similar color, just to see how they look together.

Five years later, I don't have much rhyme or reason to mine. I have 7 different colors and we just use them. I never give thought to trying to match anything. That is my personal preference.

I LOVE my multi-stripe glasses I purchased from Amazon. If you combine several colors, they look cute and they are nice quality.

I have to agree with other posts that megachina will likely get you the best deal. Shop around, though, you may find some specials or freebies.
