Hi, I am currently waiting on our first ROFR on a contract with Fidelity Resale’s. Has anyone noticed that Fidelity’s website has been down all weekend? I’m sure it’s nothing but as if ROFR isn’t stressful enough now my mind is playing tricks that they went out of business or something lol But seriously the waiting for an ROFR answer is no joke!

It is an instant gratification society. ROFR is 30 days. I don't understand why people lose their minds (or patience) with this. If, after 30 days, you haven't heard, then you should call and ask. So many people post in their 1st week about their contract. Disney is pretty consistant with their rules...It can take up to 30 days

Tech happens (or more often doesn’t ) Fidelity has been around for years and is one of the big DVC resale brokers, I wouldn’t stress about it.

I was just going to post and ask if I was the only one not able to access their website. I just wanted to check listings! I’ve just never seen it down before

I don’t know that anyone is losing their minds over it but if it’s someone’s first contract it can be a nerve racking time.

I have bought 6 resale contracts and sold one and even bought 3 direct contracts and still I stress over ROFR. I had one contract get taken (one that went all the way to 30 days while others were more 21ish days) and another the sellers backed out of after it had been in ROFR for 9 days. So, yep, I get antsy while in ROFR. And will on future buys.

As far as Fidelity...I will just say it's not my fave. I have had issues. They are like Sears is compared to, say, Nordstrom...IMO.

True... I’ve bought a bunch of resale now and although it’s not like the first time, there is still a level of anxiousness that accompanies it. As far as fidelity goes.. I tend to like their pricing

Thanks for the feedback. I used this board a lot to help make the decision to go for our first DVC purchase. We are just over half way there at 17 days. I remember reading the posts and saying to myself “I’ll be fine, it’s only 30 days” yeah that’s not my personality I guess
