Fiber optic trees question.

Does anyone have one of these? Are they better than the pre-lit christmas trees? I've been pricing both of them and I have to admit I have seen some really nice ones and some pretty bad looking ones.
Out of the nice ones I amhaving a hard time deciding. They're both easy to take apart and store, but I am trying to figure out which one would last longer and how do the fiber optics strands hold out?

i got a new fiber optic tree this year and it is realy pretty it is only a small 3 foot one. I don't have a big space for a tree unless I do a lot of moving things around, but I really like it.

We get a real tree
but DD has a small barbie pink fiber optic tree
it is quite lovely
she has it in her room it has a light bulb underneath that can be changed when needed
I don't know how the larger fiber optic trees hold up

I'm too scared to get a real one ever since one of the townhouses in my plan went up from the tree which caught on fire.

We have a tiny (18" tall) fiber-optic tree in our family room for our miniature ornaments. I don't think that I'd like a regular-sized tree in fiber-optics.

I bought a 7 1/2 ft tall tree that has lights already on plus fiber optic lights. They are all white. It is the prettiest tree that I have ever seen. I love it. I bought it at Sam's Club and it was $138.

This is 2nd year with one & I love it. Ours is about 2' & so far we've had no problems & it looks beautiful.

We love our little fiber optic tree (3 ft). We got it last year and no problems so far.

We just bought a 6.5 foot one this year and so far we really like it. It had three color wheels that came with it. Multi colored, multi color sparkle, and white sparkle. Also we can order more colors. I like it!!!
