FF+ MDE and AP Vouchers

Does anyone know if you can link your AP to your account before you are able to pick it up at the parks? I will more likely than not be in charge of making virtually all the plans for my in-laws-to-be on out wedding trip and while they will have standard tickets that I know I can link to their MDE accounts to make their FP+ reservations I have no idea how this will work for the two of us as we will only have the vouchers for out APs until we arrive either one or two days before our first park day. :confused3

Anyone done this yet?

Yes. On your AP vouchers there is a number. Just use the number - My Disney Experience will walk you through it.
The one thing I did , however, was write underneath our vouchers who each pass belongs to, as you need to "assign" each person a voucher number.

Let me know how you get on as we tried linking our annual pass vouchers before we activated them and couldn't do it. We may well have just been doing it wrong!

Are you staying at a resort on property? That is why we were able to do it.
I have heard rumors that AP holders are going to be able to do FP+ 60 days out soon.
 
Contact your consultant or planner if you still have issues. I got the confirmation email with the voucher numbers and that didn't work originally, so they send me some additional information and I was able to work it out with that. But they were very helpful and had a PDF instructional file they sent and everything.

Note: we never did end up receiving the vouchers in the mail; we picked up our annual passes using the letter they emailed; she did take our magic bands and activate the passes on them, but I had already been able to book Fast Plus + on the bands once I linked the voucher numbers.

We're not going for a long time yet but I like to be prepared ahead of time so I know what to expect.
 
Thanks have emailed my planner to see if she can help as it kept saying they were invalid. I like to be super organised as well already have my March trip all planned out so would be good to get the fast passes sorted before we go.
 
Another option is to download the MDE app and scan the vouchers directly into the system.

it worked for some people, but not for me. I had to go to guest services when I arrive at the park to have my AP linked to my MDE account. This was back in Sept though so maybe you will have better luck!
 
We managed to link our annual passes no problems. Although a couple of the times we wanted for the Fast Passes had gone already.
 
I am glad you successfully linked your vouchers! Have you gone and activiated your APs yet? I was wondering if you had any problem with the dates. I have read mixed reviews that once you link the vouchers to MDE, the date on the AP becomes that date and not the date when you redeem it at the Disney guest services. I am not traveling for 2 months, so I don't want to risk loosing 2 months off my AP. Thank you!
