we're going in December and just had a few questions. How long would the line for Joy and Sadness/ Baymax be? When's the best time to go besides rope drop? (I don't know if we would actually make it to rope drop) Also, is living with the last a tier 1 or tier 2 FP? Thanks! :)

Joy and Sadness line grows fairly quickly. If you don't go at opening, be prepared to wait. We got in line for Baymax about 9:20 one day and waited about 20 minutes, and the line for J&S was much longer.

I was wondering about the line too. We have a fast pass for 7:40 pm - hoping it will be short at that time, but ya never know!

I think Living with the land is Tier 1.

Does it get shorter toward the end of the day by any chance? 2 year old will not wait more than half an hour I'm guessing :P

following along with this thread, bc I was wondering the same thing...I am hoping to FP the character spot but then be able to jump in line and hit J&S and Baymax at the same time so I want to know when we should schedule our FP for Character Spot.

The Baymax line was not long in the middle of the day. We went in April pretty close to when J&S started meeting. The line foe Baymax was about 15 minutes max. J&S was VERY long...we didnt even attempt it. I think Ive seen people say they have gone later at night and it was better...but I dont know how late your 2 y.o will stay up.

Thank you thank you thank you!! My 2 year old is more a night owl so we may stay at night.

Baymax line is typically 15-20 minutes or less. J&S is always fairly long, even at night. I'm sure if you do it right at closing it's shorter, but maybe not if they close the line off at 8:30?? We did it a few days ago. It was late afternoon if I remember and the wait for J&S was about 35 minutes.

I wouldn't use a FP+ for Living with the Land, the line is very rarely long. Quite often you can walk right on it.

J&S line grows quick and seems to usually have about an hour wait. I'd get there early and go first thing

Thanks! I think we will try for first thing or come back at night n see...

I hope so! I don't need an FP for Soarin or test track since my 2 year old would be too short for it but there is FEA... :)

We were there the first week of June. Joy and Sadness were about 30 mins at rope drop. Escalated to 60 mins easily, soon thereafter. After dinner, lines dropped to about 30 mins again.

Baymax was about 20 mins at rope drop. We didn't get in line. We went after dinner, and there was no wait for Baymax.

Living with the Land is tier 1. I've never needed a FP+ for it. Line was 5 mins whenever we've rode it.

Thanks! Maybe I'll try after dinner one day, if not then probably do RD... :)
