Few park hours on arrival day..M&G's?

On our arrival day I expect to be at the hotel by 1 or 2. This will be Friday 10/24. DL closes at 7 for MHP. I have a full day of DL Saturday 10/25, DCA Sunday and DL w/MHP Monday 10/27. It will be dd5 and I. What do you think of trying to just knock out a bunch OF DL M&G's during those hours? DD loves characters. It's our first trip to DL. We had our first trip to WDW last December.

Only Mickey's house and Fantasy Faire will be open after 4:30-4:45 because they're indoors, so do those last. If you're going to do MHP later, I'd probably hit a few characters, then do some rides, then maybe do dinner at Goofy's that night for characters. There are characters at the party, so you'll be doing some there.
