Festival of the Lion King date?

I saw something the other day ( I can't remember where...Inside the Magic on FB maybe?), that said Festival of the Lion King will be re-opening at it's new location in June. I'll be in the parks the first week of June and would love to catch it!
Any info is appreciated! As always, thanks in advance everyone

Disney did confirm it's opening in June but they did not say when. While it's still a rumor, I have it on good authority to expect a soft sometime at the beginning of June (think like the first or second of June).

I just booked my fast pass+ for our July trip and the only thing that I still need to book is Festival of the Lion King because it wasn't available. If anyone sees it available in their fast pass + choices over the next few weeks, please let me know so I can add it in and I will do the same if I see it.

We will be there June 7-21. I am hoping it will be open during that time. With our luck it will open on June 22

That's great news! For some reason I was under the impression that it would be at least a year before the new building would be ready. I have no idea what made me think that!

We will be there from June 8-14 I'm hoping to catch it during our trip! I didn't think it would open until much later in the summer, so now I've got my fingers crossed!

Hey everyone! Just thought I would pass along that I was able to book FOLK for July 13 today so July or at least part of it is open now.
