Where does the Festival of Fantasy parade begin & end? Also where is a good stop to watch it in & how long before the parade starts should we get our spot? We're going to be there in May. Thank you!

A look at the MK Parade Route-
The 3 O'Clock Parade (Festival of Fantasy) and both the MVMCP and MNSSHP parades start near Spalsh Mtn. and exit near the Firehouse.

Less crowded than on Main Street, but still spectacular viewing can be found near the Hall of Presidents, or deep into Frontierland, past the Country Bears.

Rule of thumb: Be in your chosen location 30-60 min. before the posted start-time.
Remember that the parade will not reach Town Square (Main St. RR station) until about 25 min. after it enters MK.

Goes from Frontier Land to Main St
We watch from down in Frontier Land and never walk up more than 5 min before it starts.
Otherwise, it makes no difference as the parade is the same in Frontier Land as it is on Main St.

The parade starts in Frontierland and ends at Town Square. When we were there last April, we basically walked up to a spot in Frontierland right as it was starting. The kids enjoyed it so much that our next MK day we sat and watched it on Mainstreet. We took the opportunity for a mid-day break and got there around 1:30 for a spot right on the curb on the shady side. We were just people watching, but for a shady spot on Mainstreet I would get there no later than 2:15-2:30 or so if you want front row.
