I miss the snow...just cold air here in georgia...the whole month of november was pretty warm...70 to 80 degrees...and when december hits it gets cold suddenly..about 50 to 40 now..sometimes 60's....(cold for us here in the south)

No digital camera here but lots of snow!!! We got between 16-20 inches but some drifts are higher. Everyone but me is out shoveling and/or playing right now.

That's where dh is right now! He said it isn't snowing right now but they are calling for scattered snow showers for the rest of the day. It is pretty much over with here. I think we probably ended up with about 8".

But DH went out with a yard stick (yes - YARD stick) and said we had 27 inches. We have been trying to dig our car out all morning. We moved in August and somehow misplaced our snow shovel so all we have is hand plow thingy that is a killer to use.

Our condo association plows our driveway, but we have to move cars first. How can we move our car if it hasn't been plowed?



Anyway, DH finally dug out and disappeared. My neighbor thinks he is going to WalMart to get another shovel. It would be nice if he told me...he could have fallen into a snow canyon and I would never have known.

We got about 30" in Natick. Pretty ridiculous! Hubby was outside trying to shovel our cars out for 3 hours this morning, and i helped too!

OK--here is the final update.

Here was DH's car on Saturday. Not too bad.

Here is the same car less than 24 hours later

And finally, the branches you see resting on this shed, are generally completely VERTICAL, and standing up. This stuff was Heavy!!!

We are finally dug out, there is bare pavement on our drive, and we came through fine. The kids had no school today. Everything should be back to normal tomorrow
