Feet In The Fountain.........

Hi there Robo! Yeah, I am here in Austria!

Edelweiss, Edelweiss

I have one word!

AWESOME!!!!!!!!

We have a water/play area at our zoo, where kids can wade in the water, splash etc, my DD would love to do it, but without fail whenever we go someone has their baby in there with a gigantic water-soaked diaper GROSS.

It's one thing to feel "at home" when you are at Disney, but that is totally tasteless. Sometimes I think people leave their manners, class, and good common sense at home. I suppose they thought it was there just for them! How crude.

This thread reminds me of a popular song a few years ago ...

Three Feet in the Fountain.

Which one will the fountain bless?

Make it mine.
Make it Mine.
Make it MINE!

In the picture, it looks like the woman on the right is crouching to get a drink out of the water fountain. My question is....

IS SHE NUTS?!?

Seriously -- last year, I actually saw a woman get a drink from this fountain? Of course, there weren't any feet in it at the time, but I thought I was going to fall over. Mouth hanging; so wish I had a picture!! :rotfl:

ok - i can't stop being stunned.
that is horrible! seriously how do you even get the idea to do that? it's a decorative (and special) fountain! what'd they think it was? A memorial to how Cinderella used to wash the stepsister's feet?!

Just a thought...
not excusing them...
is it possible...
playing devil's advocate...

that in their culture (corner of the world, whatever that may be), this is done?
Just curious.

Just a couple of observations of the picture. First I wonder what the girl in the hat walking away is thinking. It looks like she is watching them while walking away. And second, I think it is funny how they have their shoes stacked nice and neat like they have been there a while. I am sure they just wanted to enjoy the fountain a little bit more then the rest of the guests.

That is the exact reason they do it. This was posted when all of the Brazilian tourist groups were at WDW last year.

Now, why did the OP want this posted, I don't remember seeing her reasoning, or did I miss it :confused3
