Fees for changing car drop off times?

We booked our flights for this April's trip back in December. Since then, Delta has either been bought out or merged with another airline and our seating arrangements have been changed six times. The last change came two days ago and not only did our seats change, but our flight times going home have changed. We originally were flying out at 6am but are now flying out at 11am. We are really need to book our car rental but I'm wondering if we will be charged any additional fees for changing drop off times if necessary. I really am finding great rates right now and would like to lock in but am worried about them messing with the flights again and getting whacked with a fee from the car rental agencies.

We booked with Delta and National back in May for our upcoming April trip.
The original flight was to arrive at 10 am saturday and leave the following saturday at 7 pm.
The flight times have changed on a monthly basis to our current times, we arrive at 12 noon on saturday and leave the following saturday at 2:25 pm. So now we pick up the car at 12:30 and drop it off at 12:30 the following saturday.
I called National and they adjusted our car rental from an 8 day to a 7 day and knocked $50 off the original rate. They told me if the times are changed again they'll adjust the rate to fit the times at the counter.

Go to the online website for rental company in question and try to edit your existing reservation. As you enter the changes you should be able to see how it affects your cost. At the very end, you should have the option of accepting your edits or keeping your original ressie.
