Hi. I was just about to submit my information (and payment for first night) however, when I was reading the Terms & conditions it states that there will be a minimum of $25 fee for any changes. I am not 100% certain of my dates yet but wanted to book before the rates become unavailable.

On previous pages it had said you could change/cancel up to 5 days before hand but did not mention the $25 min fee. Does anyone know if this is enforced? For example I may have to add/subtract a day. I'm still uncertain about which hotel I REALLY want to spend my money on but thought I would at least get a reservation for the one I am hoping I can afford when the time comes.

Thoughts?

Are you booking a package or hotel only through WDTC.? Or through another company?

I just cancelled a package booking through Disney and was not charged $25. We did rebook room only though so that might be why.

I am surprized that you were not charged when you cancelled, so now with room only they added the fee. We were charged 1 nights stay when we reserved and had the 5 day option for a refund.

With a package you only get charged the cancellation fee if you make changes that reduce the cost of the package. We ended up buying the dining plan to make up our difference... Don't know about hotel only though...

When I was getting ready to book a room only reservation online last September I noticed the $25 fee so I called and inquired about it. I was told that online reservations are charged a change/cancellation fee but phone reservations are not charged the fee. I made my reservations on the phone and I ended up having to change my reservation twice (new dates/changing hotel from Paradise Pier to GC) and I was not charged a fee.

Wow, that's pretty bad of them.

When going through it you click on the T&C that gives you a popup, and you wouldn't expect the ending T&C to be *different* from the popup! Seriously NOT cool, IMO.
