Feeling very disillusioned by Fidelity

We found a Recommend that we liked and contacted Fidelity 3 times by email over a few days and eventually called them. The lady was nice on the phone and we sent her an email to make an offer. We heard nothing back so I sent another email, again we heard nothing back so we called as it had been a few days. She hasn't spoken to the owners yet as they had a full inbox but they had another number for them that she could try (why hadn't she tried it yet?), she emailed with their counter offer, and almost immediately we made another counter offer. Again no reply, few days went by so I sent another email, again nothing and now I see that the listing is gone from their website. I can't help but feel if she had been more on the ball we could have had that contract, but hey - what do they care, they got the sale in the end no matter who it was from.

Just feel let down by them, on the flip side we have had great dealings with the timeshare store, but sadly they don't have any Recommends that we are wanting right now :(

Hi Robyn .. i can recommend **** at *************** , he was very quick when i made an offer , contracts was done on both sides, deposit paid and sent to Disney to start the ROFR process in less than 12 hours :)

( Sorry .. not sure why name of resale company has been taken out ?? )

Google search the word kin but with 2 n's. when you see references to DVC, that's the site. Not very good contracts right now, but as soon as resale market gets back to normal, that's the place I will go when I want a 2nd contract.

Yes, the "DVC website that shall not be named" was great for me, too.

Yep, we have also had fantastic and FAST service from 'he who shall not be named' :thumbsup2

We had stricter limitations with our budget, and what we could come up with up front. I had been watching for resales for a while, but hadn't expected to find the perfect contract for us so quickly and I hadn't saved up enough. Kin_ worked with us and made sure we were comfortable with everything before we proceeded.

We are still waiting for ROFR, but the process so far has almost been SCARY fast. :lmao:

From the DIS Guidelines:

7. ADVERTISING

The advertisers/sponsors who you see on the DIS are carefully chosen. ...

We do welcome discussion of DIS advertisers/sponsors as well as other businesses that you have information or questions about. When suggesting competitors of any DIS sponsor or advertiser, please just post a link to the website for that business. The link will serve as a useful means for others to find that site. In the event that the link is replaced in part (or in whole) by ***, it simply means that the site word filter has been allowed to do it's job properly. Please don't attempt to bypass the intent of the filter by creatively trying to post links or other information about that site or business.

Suggestion that DIS advertisers and sponsors have influence over how the forums are run is far from the truth. They are provided advertising space on the DIS and, if they have registered usernames, will have an "Approved Advertiser" icon in their profile. Otherwise, they play no role in what may be posted on the DIS about them or their competitors.

From the DIS Guidelines:

The DIS is a privately owned web site and we reserve the right to restrict any outside commercial ventures at our discretion. We will not discuss the reasons behind why specific websites are filtered and any discussion regarding the word filter may be deleted.
