This morning at 8:43am, I said goodbye to my furbaby, Merina.
She was a 17yo shep/lab cross that's been with me while I was in college. She was with me before I got married, before we moved to our house and before we had kids.
She was THE world's biggest terror for the first 2 years we had her. She chewed EVERYTHING, she stole food off of the counter, she peed on the floor, nearly pulled my arm off on every walk and hated every other dog she met. After 2 years of very hard work, she became the next to perfect dog for our family.
When she was diagnosed with lung cancer and an abdominal tumour 3 months ago, I thought my world was falling apart.
I'm lost without her in my life.
