Feeling Hot Hot Hot! The Rain Curse is Broken! Two Weeks of Fun in the Sun! COMPLETE

to bad the pasta wasnt that good, it looked pretty good in the picture.

and that is a fun pool to play in, we had a blast there when we stayed.

the food at the pool was pretty good as well, we ate there a few times, since it was alot closer to our room than walking to the market.

We never tried the pool food, I imagine it is more convenient to eat there if you have a room all the way back in the Ranchos section.

Aaaccckkk! I can't believe I let myself get so far behind! But, I'm caught up now, and all is well!!:thumbsup2

I've always wanted to do the Pick a Pearl in Japan, so I loved reading about yours. Maybe one day I'll actually get around to doing it!

I thought it was really sweet that you let the little girl help with the Kimpossible Mission! Very nice!!

I loved the PhotoPass pics across the lagoon in Epcot...those were awesome!

Wow, you got some really good shots of all the topiaries! That was a great idea to go there just for that! I loved seeing all of them!

It was nice being able to take my time with photos and not feel rushed because the rest of the family was moving on.

When we stayed at CSR a few years ago, I was royally confused by Pepper Market. It seemed that I could never get it right, so we mostly just skipped it in favor of eating something in the parks.

You took some great topiary pictures, next year I'll be sure to do better! I must have been so busy rushing into the park I really didn't get a good look at them at all. :sad2:

So nice to have a relaxing morning! I'm sure your mom and you enjoyed some nice time together and I'm sure the bros enjoyed sleeping in!

It was nice being able to take my time and not feel rushed taking photos.

I am sure they appreciated sleeping in, they are always complaining that they never get to whenever we go on vacation.

looks like a great way to start the day. i was happy for slightly cooler temps that morning too! I love that you are your momma are coordinating:thumbsup2

Mom and I made our way over to Character Connection to take advantage of the short line. We did not have long to wait and I explained photopass to a family in line behind us. They also were unaware of Pixar Weekend so Mom gave them our Pixar map. :thumbsup2

I think it is funny that back in 2007 it was near impossible to get Mom in a character photo and now she wants to be in all of them! Sometimes she insists on getting pictures with just her in them. I wonder what has caused this change in behaviour?

Awesome character pics! Who doesn't want to be in character photos? DH and I still do quite often and I still feel like a kid when I'm hugging on one of those characters!

Awesome that you got to the Character connection before the lines got long! You guys got some wonderful pics, I love the one of you hugging Minnie! So cute with your Minnie ears!

We also have the same crocs! I just love them for Disney, don't you!

I agree with the pp. You and your mom are too cute!

 Thanks!

It is actually rather funny when she DEMANDS to get a picture alone with a character. It is like she is a kid again. :rotfl:

After our fun with the characters it was time to explore the Flower and Garden Festival a bit more.

Next up was Bambii's Butterfly House. It had changed locations since we had last been there in 2009 so we happened upon it unexpectedly as we left Character Connection.

It was very pretty inside and they had music from Bambii lightly playing in the background. There were not that many butterflies though, I assume that it is because we were there so late in the festival. In fact, this was the last official day of the festival.

All the butterflies that are supposedly there, I think we only saw three different varieties out of all those listed.

After leaving the butterfly house we admired the flowers that had been planted along the water. We stayed in the area for awhile as I wanted to get my traditional monorail shot although it would be a slightly different angle than I usually get.

After what seemed like an eternity the monorail finally arrived and I got the picture I wanted.

Really good shots, Lessa! I think you would make an awesome photo journalist. I love how you have the patience to get the right shot!:thumbsup2

Lessa, the pictures of the flowers and butterflies are breathtaking. And the topiaries of Bambi and friends are terrific!

Beautiful pics, Lessa! :cutie:

Thanks Dawn!

Thanks! I love photography and taking pictures, it is rare that you will catch me without a camera. Once I finish school and start making the big bucks I want to buy a DSLR and take a photography class so I can take really great photos!

As for having patience, well that comes and goes. :rotfl:

Thanks! I love taking pictures of flowers and nature. Well I just love taking pictures in general and without Alek and Erich tagging along I didn't feel the pressure to keep moving along so I took my time. :thumbsup2
