So our opening window to make reservation and book things onboard is tonight. Other than booking the meet and great with the frozen characters what else is there to do on our itinerary? The website isnt set up like it was before, where you can see a list of activities you can pick from. I feel like I should be doing some research on our cruise (Dream 3night 10/28) but I dont know what I need to look for. What can I book other than palo and the spa?

You can book excursions when your window opens. To see what excursions may be available now you can go to the "Port Adventures" link on the DCL website. It's located on the pull down menu when you hover over the "Things to Do" tab on the main page.

When your window opens, the page where you select "adult dining" and "spa" reservations also has a "Port Adventures" and "Onboard fun" link. That's where you can see and select from the list for what excursions are actually being offered for your cruise. Onboard Fun is where the Meet & Greets are selected.

What time does your window open on your date, DCL experts? I have tried googling this but I'm coming up with links to pages that are 2, 3+ years old, and since WDW changed the time not that long ago - I'm guessing DCL may have too.

(sorry, OP, a bit off topic but fits with it a bit!)

I'm curious about the Frozen characters you mentioned. I thought I read about princess meet & greets needing tickets or something, and the Fab 5 being around at various times. Which Frozen characters did you hear about? Or is it just Anna & Elsa that I was just counting as princesses. (My boys won't be worried about them.)

It opens at midnight (Eastern Time, EDT this time of year) on the night before/morning of the 75th day before your sailing date as a first time cruiser. When you make Silver (second-fifth cruise), it goes to 90; for Gold (sixth-tenth cruise), it is 105 days; and for Platinum (eleventh and beyond cruise), it is 120 days prior.

In addition to what others have answered, you also book your Port Arrival Time (PAT) as part of your online check-in.

Sweet, thx! I'm on Pacific time, so big phew. I dread our next WDW trip and having to choose between either not booking right when my window opens, or setting my alarm to get up in the middle of the night.

The Frozen characters (Anna, Elsa and Olaf) have their own, ticketed, meet & greet. One not, occasionally one of the characters may not be there (pressing business in Arendelle, I suppose). The Princess Gathering is (typically) like Cinderella, Snow White, Rapunzel, Tiana, Belle, Ariel. Generally 4 or 5 of those. Sometimes as few as 3.

On the 12-night British Isles cruise this June, it was always Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Merida as the 5 princesses. As for our Frozen Meet and Greet, we only had Princess Anna and Olaf. We were given no explanation on Queen Elsa's whereabouts.
