since seaworld Orlando doesn't do a dolphin dive, the next best thing is to feed them. I saw on SW website that for an extra fee you can feed the dolphins at certain times during the day. do you need reservations, or do you just show up at the dolphin area during a certain time? any idea how much this costs? thanks!

show up with your $$ and stand in line for the feedings - it is a couple of bucks

I was never clear on the schedule of the feeding, but the earlier the go the better. They are more active during the first feedings. When we were there last month it was $7 a person.

My guess, is because dolphin feeding is so popular, they don't post it anywhere on when feedings are, because they dont' have enough for everyone.

It is $7 per tray, but everyone entering the feeding area will get 1 tray of fish to feed. so it's $7 per person; unless you want more than one tray of fish to feed.

If you're there first thing in the morning, they usually have one then; after that, it seems to be pretty random. Espically depending on how the weather is. I know they can't let anyone touch the water if there is lightening that's close.

One of my daughters did this. The other one didn't want to, so she went to a different area to view the dolphins. It was $7 per person. No reservations for this. We did it first thing...I paid for myself as well and just let her feed both trays of fish to the dolphins while I took pictures. We went first thing in the morning.

we have just come back, and had the dolphin feed in with our VIP tour, loved it, the dolphins know food is about so come up close to the wall, can get some great photos - cost $7 tray.

We paid for it again on our last day at sea world - for me it was well worth it.

Are you looking for an up close encounter with the dolphins?? If so then i suggest discovery cove.. it is highly priced however and needs reservations. Feel free to PM me with any questions.
