My magic 8 ball told me that codes will be released Wed or Thur of this week.

Wow, that 8 ball is on the money! From the DIS homepage:

Hello to all -
Here is a question. We already have a package booked thru AAA in Feb.
Would the travel agent there be able to use a code to get a better deal or are we stuck with what we already have with the AAA discount? We have used Mouseears before and they were always able to get a discount before our trip. If the AAA agent can't get it, could I get it myself?

Your agent should be able to call and apply the code for you. You'll have to see if the new deal is better than the AAA discount, since you can't combine both. It depends on your package, but the codes are usually a little better.

There is a package code for Disney Visa Holders!!! I am on hold with Disney now!!! As the Canadian package is, free park hopping & water park/more options and a small room discount.

ZCJ for room & tickets
ZCI for room, tickets, & dining

There is a 10-night limit on the package though. I had to change my ressie to 10 nights for the discount & then have a one night room only. Would have liked it to be for all 11 nights, but I am ok with it.

I saved well over 400.00 though.

No room only discount though? We're planning to stay at AKL for 3 nights in February before our Disney cruise but aren't planning to go to the parks except for a Pirate and Princess Party so we don't need tickets. Guess we'll keep waiting.

There was a small discount on the room, we are at Pop, so it was only about 10.00 per night (after doing the math).

I know that the mods & deluxes also have a discount available, I just don't know exactly what it would be. Would be interesting to know though, in case I HAVE to upgrade...

I think the ZCJ/ZCI code is good now, but its a Disney Visa offer. The may ask you if you have a card when you call.

I was able to apply code to Feb trip at Polynesian. Upgraded tickets and saved $350 on package ( 9 nites at poly, so around $40 per nite)

I think that the person who posted this on the resort board would dissagree as availability looks tight the first week of Feb for Deluxe and some moderates

I am happy to have my ressies made and confirmed to match my flight.

I have to say that I was wrong on the availability issue for late January/early Februrary. I found, on the Disney site, only concierge rooms available at the deluxes that showed any availability, and only preferred/view rooms at the moderates. I'm a little confused though, in the past we've often found that concierge rooms fill up before the rest of the hotel is booked solid. I hope that everyone who reserved those rooms is planning to use them. My point was that some people seemed to be reserving a room that they would not use without a discount, thinking that they could cancel it if no code came out. Any way, I hope that the coming codes help most folks. If nothing opens up at a discount we will be staying (offsite).

I received the same email and immediately called my TA. She proceeded to call CRO and was told that it is not a "code," it is a "pin" used as enticement for people who do not yet have ressies, so that the can fill the rooms (since it only applies to the room). My TA called twice & spoke to two different CMs regarding this and she received the same info both times. I don't know if you can add dining to it. I got the impression from my TA that you could not. She is going to wait until tomorrow and call again regarding the rumor of a code being released on 11/2. When she did talk w/ the first CM, he kind of let it slip that there is a code in the computer but they can not pull up any pricing yet for it.

Here's to keeping our fingers crossed for that powerful pixie dust.

I called at 8:00 A.M. and got the AP rate of $59.00 for our one night at Pop, but there was nothing available for our night at POR, also nothing at POFQ or WL. Makes me wonder how many rooms there are available with the rate. It was for 2/9, which shouldn't be too busy.
