We are planning a trip for Feb. 26 thru March 4 can anyone tell me what to expect? Is it warm enough for swimming, and how bad are the crowds? thanks :wave2:

We were there this past Feb 5-19, not exactly the same time, but pretty close. You can expect anything for weather. We were extremely lucky and had sunny warm weather most of the time. The temps were cool at night, but high 70's and low 80's in the day. We had one day where we wore pants and a long sleeved shirt only, and only an hour of rain early one morning on another. But, you could get cool weather the whole time too! We swam several times. Now, IMHO, it is all about your perspective too. In Feb there's lots of snow on the ground where I live and it is mighty cold. To me anything without a heavy coat is a bonus. You can usually tell the Canadians because we'll be the only ones in shorts is the joke! You should bring clothes for both warm and cool weather, and wear layers since it does warm up pretty quick. The crowds were light to moderate when we were there. Presidents Day weekend was our last one, and the crowds picked up a lot close to then. I am sure someone else can give you more info about later in the month.

Crowds will be pretty light. You'll be there after President's Day week but before Spring Breaks kick in.

As the poster above said, be prepared for anything with the weather. The pools are heated, but the air is not! You may have days in the low 80s with mornings in the upper 50s; or you may have days near 50 with morning lows in the 30s. And you could have both of those scenarios in the same week you are there!

Have fun!

Bob

We were there for Valentine's Day a few years ago and it was quite warm during the day but quite chilly once the sun went down (I wore a midweight jacket more than once). The crowds weren't that bad IMHO...

We've been during this time before and will be there next year again (Feb.21-March 3 :wave2: )The weather was great not too hot :sunny: not too cold :cold: . We did go swimming at the hotel and water park.
