February trip thread!

We're coming in from Alaska for my daughter's frist trip ever to California. We're staying in San Diego 2/18 - 2/23, and Anaheim 2/23 - 3/2. Crowne Plaza Resort Anaheim.

Neither of us has ever been to DL or CA.

ANyone that has been and gone- what's the situation with the trees blossoming? They were fully bloomed in mid March last year, and it was absolutely amazing!

We are staying at the Hyatt in Garden grove - they have the free shuttle, and we got a good rate on priceline. I'm a little bumbed we wanted to stay at Hojo's, but they didn't have the rate for our times when I checked ahh well I'm sure the Hyatt will be great. We would love to meet up - just know that we have TWO toddlers to look after so it gets crazy sometimes

We are down to 1 week. I have the rest of today off after chaperoning a great field trip this morning with my 8 y/o.

I think I will start packing. It is sunny here so that helps get in the mood.

Boy, I wish I had seen this thread earlier. We are going to DL TOMORROW! I would have loved to meet some follow DISers.

Well, I will continue to check back here through out the day. Maybe there is still a chance to meet up with some folks.

Hi fellow Feb'ers! If you are at CA on Thursday Feb, 25th or DL on Saturday Feb 27th keep an eye out for our young dancers! They perform both those days but we don't have times yet. I will be the mom with the most tears in my eyes as I see my DD dance in one of my favourite places in the world. What a treat and a privilege! They are wearing bright orange, yellow and black costumes and are hard to miss! So exciting!!!

2 cheerleading competitons going on that weekend too. Parks will be hopping.

You live in San Diego and this will be your first time going to DL? Well I suppose if it's your first time, then I am glad that you are doing it on your B-day.

I have been to WDW several times but nowhere near as many times as I have been to DL. Hope you have a wonderful birthday. And who knows, might even see you in the parks.

We are almost packed!!! I have my own little tigger bouncing around the house. My youngest has been bouncing off the ceiling since Sat. I am glad she had basketball practice tonight to wear off some excess energy.

Glad Capt. EO is opening tomorrow but I wish it would have been a few weeks earlier. I have a feeling we are going to have a few days that are really busy.

Doesn't matter I am sooooooo excited to be going.

PoohBearFriends, I feel exactly the same way you do regarding EO. Love me some MJ, but crowds suck. I hope the promise of clouds and a chance of rain on the weekend is a dealbreaker for many. LOL! Aren't I a meanie?

we go to hojo this evening, no time to go to DL had some stuff to take care of first but we will be there tomorrow morning! first though, we are in kids suite room 318 and its GREAT! IM SO GLAD we decided to stay here i LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! SEE ANY OTHER DISERS THERE TOMORROW!
