it realllly depends on your tolerance and where you live! to me it will be considered warm there most likely, one thing to note is that the weather for socal is VERY unpredictable lol here is the link to hydroguys wonderful weather history to give you an idea!

thanks for the link...I am just so confused on what I should be packing...i do live in ny which is def an ice box right now..so in my mind california is always shiny and sunny (lols)..so i guess i will just have to pack a lil of everything to be on the safe side...i dont want it to be like last february when we went to orlando with only summer clothes and ended up having to go shopping at the world of disney store...

We were there two years ago in Feb during school vaca week and will be back again this year. Unfortunately, it was rainy off and on, nothing torrential, just annoying. The temp was about 50/60 during the day and 40/50 at night. This time I plan on packing the same, layers and bringing a short trench with a removable lining.

It looks like we'll be at DL from 2/15-2/18. Just DH and me (my kids are there w/o us this weekend; good to know we raised them right). I think we're staying at the Candy Cane Inn. Still trying to sort out our schedule with friends.
We played hooky for a day in Oct. and went to DL, and ran into our first unplanned Dismeet. I spied a LGMH on a lady in front of the Golden Horseshoe. It was very exciting!

In response to the weather. We have gone in March a lot and had rain and cold and the next time it's sunny and 80. We had to buy hats and gloves the cold year so we do come prepared for that and then just layer a lot.

thanks for all the feedback everyone...so my guess is pack a lil bit of just about everything...it wont be hard to have the hats, gloves, and scarves since to leave ny we will def have them on. I guess we will pack a winter spring mix and hope for the best...one last question thoughdo you think that we will get any pool time in ??? for me i could care less but for my dd she has to always get into the pool....

I live in SoCal and like everyone said the weather can be hot or it could be cold and rainy. Last year I stayed at dland for 5 days and packed pants and tank tops and it rained the whole time. Make sure you bring a good sweater and you'll be fine.

We are planning a trip Feb 1-3, staying at hojo. I am thinking of adding Jan 31st but not sure yet.

After an almost 5 year absence at Disneyland because we keep going to Orlando instead, we are heading there feb 26-28, 2010 for my wifes 41st birthday, and also because my daughter has her ROTC trip to san diego and then disneyland so we will meet her there. We are tenitively staying up the street at motel 6 for now. Cant wait to see all the changes!

welcome to the thread you three! glad to have ya :D disneyfun1 you are there in part of my dates as well

Pack your suits. I know there's a hot tub at the VGC, so you can always jump in the pool, then warm up for a few minutes in the hot tub before you go back to the room.
Also, we've been there on President's weekend and had it close to 90 degrees out. No lie!

thanks for the advice we will pack sweaters and bathing suits and hope for the best

We'll be there for our 2nd annual family trip Feb 26, 27, 28th. Would have liked more time this time, but we're doing City Pass. We went last year mid-March and hit the Spring Break crowd. Surely, it will be better this time! I just hope we get the awesome tree blossoms again. It was breathtaking! We're staying HoJo again as well- can't wait to watch fireworks as the little ones snooze the night away!!

Ill be there all day on the 17th and about half a day on the 18th. Driving down late night from LA on the 16th after a taping of "The Big Bang Theory."

Rob

P.S. I'm *going* to a taping. Not participating ;-).

:yay:we officialy have 40 joined in our trip thread! not to mention the girls group that will be there the end of feb makes around 80

I'm a little disappointed that Matterhorn Bobsleds will be closed. However, on my last two trips, The Haunted Mansion was closed. So it's not all bad :-).

Heard a nasty rumor that Indy will be closed. Hope that's not true.

Rob

I heard something like that a little while back Rob. I hope it isn't true- we didn't get to ride it last time. We didn't get to any of the ROA stuff, besides F!, last time either. And, it just so happens that Matterhorn is my and my DD6's FAVE ride. It would seem those cards are against us, but really, there are SO many other things still open. It's just hard to focus on them when you have to get a grip on something you can't have, eh?

HEY everyone! got a lil update, so far the rumors on indy being closed arent true. its not showing on the schedule and it seems like the CM that is in the thread at mice chat still doesnt think so. hope not! its almost time! some of you will be leaving in just a couple short weeks!

I'm joining this thread....

We are going February 16 - 20 and staying at the Anaheim Plaza.

This is our "cheap trip"...cheap plane tickets ($50 each way Seattle to SNA), cheap motel ($240 total for 4 nights).

We are volunteering this weekend to get our "free day" and will use that toward our renewal of our AP's.

We haven't been in almost a year.

Looking forward to some Disney magic! :goodvibes
