February school holiday dates????

I live in the UK and usually visit WDW in the summer. I really want to see the parks when they are less crowded. I heard that Feb , before President's Day, was a good time to go. We've booked to go the week before President's Day 12 - 19 Feb but I've since found out that many states are having their school break the week before President's Day. Will this mean the parks will be very crowded? When is your school's holiday?

Our school in Pennsylvania has President's break starting on 2/18/05 to 2/21/05.

Our children don't have Spring break until March 21st. ISD 196 (MN-USA).

Most schools in the New york metro area are closed Feb. 21-25. (M-F) People will start arriving the weekend prior,(Feb. 18) and the parks will get busy.
Presidents week is a very busy week. Clear out before the 19th and you should be okay.

Here in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, the only day in February schools are closed is the 21st, for President's Day.

We'll be in WDW Feb 6-18!!!

Our travel dates are 2/13 to 2/23

Our DS is on vacation 2/21 to 2/25 (Maine)

We are expecting that it will start to get busy around 2/19. This is our 1st time going to DW in February. I have done a lot of research and I think we will be okay!

We have to go in Feb due to scheduling, so I hoped that we would have some time not that crowded.

We have off one day, President's Day, and that is it. I never knew people had a whole week off in February before I found the DIS!!! We have Spring Break the end of March. We have also lived in Florida and Virginia and never had a February break there either. I would LOVE to! But I guess most of you don't have the 2 full weeks off at Christmas that we have.

Our school system is new to us...and my girls are out Feb 14-18, so we're plannin on Disney the 13-20
Right before Pres Day...I've heard it's crowded then!

Here in CT (and much of MA, too) we'll be off from the 21 to 25. That means for HS teacher DH and DS15 we can go on the cruise on 2/19. We're on the Magic for the Eastern Caribbean. At least it's not hurricane season then. It'll be one of the only times we'll go to FL without visiting the parks!

We are off 2/21-25th too. I think you'll notice the crowds arriving around Thursday or Friday before hand.

I'm curious about your dates. (We were thinking of WDW during that time.) Is all of Atlanta going to be on break during that time or just one little town's school system? Thanks!

In Plymouth, Michigan, our Mid-Winter Break is February 12-20. We will be at WDW the same week you are planning to go. Other cities near us have their break either the week after ours or have only a long weekend for President's Day. I am glad we are able to go to WDW the week before President's Week!
