february presidents week or april easter week???

Which week will be less crowded? I know that these are popular weeks and I need to know which one i should book. Thanks in advance!

I am a teacher so I can only go during these times . My school has off President's Day Week and the third week in April, reqardless if it is Easter or not. We have found that if Easter is NOT during this time, then the parks are quite pleasantly minus population. However, if Easter is during that time, then it is busier then the President's Day Week (plus it is starting to get hot --Feb. has its cool days and a few warmer days)

Hey travel with kids- I am from maine too, and choose the feb vacation because the winter is sooooooo long, dark and cold, and looking forward to going somewhere warm in feb (even if it is sometimes in the 50s!) gets us through! I never considered April because it is finally starting to get green. Maybe we should next time. OP, does this impact your choice at all-the long cold winter? I lived in New Haven for a year in grad school and April was so beautiful. Feb on the other hand..... I would be interested in both your thougths given you are both from NE. Thanks!

I would choose Feb vacatation week over Easter week anytime. Easter is sooooo crowded. We did Feb vacation for the first time last year and it wasn't too bad. The weather was gorgeous all week! Evenings were cool, 50's & 60's, but most days were high 70's or low 80's. It was perfect!! Now, if Easter wasn't in April for a particular year, I'd go that week in a heartbeat.

Hi thanks! I am also a teacher and can only get away those weeks too. My spring break week is also Easter week this year, I guess february will be our best week out of the two. I, also enjoy getting away mid winter for vacation. Last year, Connecticut was so cold and dreary and it was still quite chilly in april. In fact, this past year i didn't wear shorts till mid-june!

I am also from Maine and a teacher. We have never been over April or February vacation, but did Christmas week one year and we had a blast despite the crowds. This year we chose February vacation because we saw that Easter fell the same week as our April vacation. I had heard Easter week was crazy so we wanted to avoid it. I do worry that we might get snowed in up here and our flights will get cancelled. We found flights out of MHT for $135 round trip and booked them way back in June so that sealed the deal and we will be going. I am keeping my fingers crossed for good weather that week so we can get out.

I am another Mainer and teacher. I have been to WDW the during me last two April vacations and while they are busy, are manageable. I like traveling in April because I don't have to worry about flying in snow, driving to the airport in snow or leaving my house in the dead of winter. Plus, I need something to look forward to during the long month of March (aka testing month.)
