February Exercise Challenge!

I didn't see a thread for this month yet, and I'm hoping I'm giving Julie (goldcupmom) a break and not stepping on her toes :hug: by starting this thread.

The challenge is on. And it's a challenge by you to you! Challenge yourself to do "x" number of minutes of exercise this month and then JUST DO IT!

Post here as frequently as you like and I will start a list in this post and keep it updated as frequently as I can throughout the month. As you post, please tell me how many minutes you have through that date and what your total challenged number is. For example "I've done 60 minutes on the treadmill and am now at 60/1200".

As you reach milestones for the month, your name and total will change color in this post.

At 10%, you'll be bright pink
When you reach 25%, you'll be purple
When you reach 50%, you'll be orange
When you reach 75%, you'll be turquoise
At 90%, you'll be red (because you are on fire!)
When you hit 100%, you'll be WISH green!


So, let's go, everyone! Post your self-challenge, and I'll make the list here, and then let's watch the list change color!

I'll start. I am challenging myself to 1500 minutes. Since there are only 29 days in February, that's a bit more than 30 minutes a day, average.

i'm going to set my goal to 1000 minutes. that will be made up of kickboxing on mondays, step aerobics wednesdays, short runs on tuesday and thursdays, and a long run on saturdays.

I'm in. Only did 1566/1700 last month but will try it again! So far today I am at 82/1700. Wahoo
 
I really want to loose about 70lbs by time May 2013 rolls around. So let's start off small. I use to go for longer, but since I'm restarting, my goal is to do 1200 minutes. I missed out on today though. Boo.
 
Count me in! I love this idea. my goal for the month is 1500.

For today, I am 40/1500

Please make a new post, Lulu. :goodvibes You can share what you did or not, but definitely tell me how many minutes you did and what your total is to date. For example "I did 30 minutes of walking, bringing my total for the month to 30/1000".

As for me, I did a full hour of circuit training this morning, upper and lower body including weighted crunches. EEK! I am going to be in pain tomorrow, I think.

My total as of now is 60/1500.

Edited because I thought yesterday was the 2nd ... lol I never know what day it is. My totals are correct thus far. :) Thanks!

Yesterday, I walked 26 minutes on my treadmill. Today, I've done 41 minutes on the treadmill. I'm now at 67 minutes (out of 600) total.
 
Okay, everyone, as long as the DIS boards are as slow as they are, I will update whenever I have time. I have tried no less than 10 times today to post or update to this thread, but the website just "spins". Hopefully it will get better soon. Forgive me if you don't quickly see your updates. :blush:

Today I did a program on the exercise bike for 26 minutes and 18 minutes of free weights = 44 minutes.

Month total is 99/1500
