Just finished off January. Sorry this is late - I was in Phoenix with DH and had no computer. First time in just under TWENTY years that we have been anywhere alone.....not hardly even to dinner.

I'm really having a tough time getting in the groove since the sewage flood. Something HAS to click here soon!

As usual commit to as few or as many minutes of exercise as you wish to challenge yourself to do. Please post here something like "I'm at 21/400" or just 310/1000. That way I don't have to search to add up all your numbers.

Hello. I'm committing to 625 minutes for February. That looks really lame compared to the numbers I saw on January's thread - but for me (compared to - oh, say, 0 minutes) it is huge. I am currently at 75/625.

Don't think about where everybody else is at. Just do the best you can for where you are at.:goodvibes Exercise is important--and in my opinion an hour on most days is important for weight loss--buy you need to work up to that. It won't do you any good if you go out too fast and get an injury.:goodvibes

My February goal is 1200 minutes due to the shorter month and vacation at the end of the month.

Feb. 1 - 65 cardio
Feb. 2 - 65 strength
Feb. 3 - 60 cardio
Feb. 4 - 60 strength

New Here! Hope you don't mind if I join in. My goal for February is 1200. Right now I am at 240/1200. Work kept me away for 3 days this past week. But I think that I can still make it. :thumbsup2
 
Hi, Julie! How are you, sweetie? I feel so badly about being so out of touch with my WISH friends.

Is it too late for me to jump on the bandwagon? I am trying to be realistic because life is so insanely busy, but I am going for 1000 minutes this month. I will be back in a while to update with my total to date. I'll have to check my WW journal and my FB page to remember the exact number of minutes for each day already past. :hug:

You have to start somewhere and 625 is GREAT!! That's more than 20 min/day of moving!

Welcome whenever! Just setting a goal will get you moving. Making it or not really doesn't matter.

Off to update before I take the husky for about 5 miles in the WIND. I would say I can't wait for spring, but it's even windier in NM then.

Thanks everyone for your support. I am not dreading my exercise every day as much as I thought I would. I am currently at 215/625. :yay:
 
Too late to join? Hello all. I just had my freak out moment on the scale yesterday. I used to weigh frequently to just keep me aware of where I was heading but I had not been doing that since maybe October and just not taking care of myself like I used to and focusing on everyone else - mom's can relate!

Well I'm back on track today and hoping to get back to the exercise! For the rest of the month I'm going to commit to 540 minutes!

Boot camp was tonight - ugh. I usually go to 5 or 6 a month but didn't go for 6 weeks :guilty: so these last two bc's have been tough! I think I'm going to try to get up in time for spin tomorrow though - I really like spin class.

Not sure I am going to make it to 1200 this month. It shouldn't be that difficult. It is only 20 sixty minute workouts. I just realized this is a shorter month. I had a slow start the first week. But I am going to give it a good try. Going to the gym today and tomorrow with DH. We normally do about 90 minutes when we go together. So hopefully I should be close to 600 by Tuesday.
 
I'm at 720/1200! :jumping3::jumping1::jumping3:

Amazing what a little more recovery time will do! I'm able to do a lot more now than I have in a long long time. I'm starting to see the results of all the rehab work I have been doing. That said, my post surgery free membership in the NTC gym runs out at the end of next week. I'm starting to transition to doing things I can do in our gym here where we live and other outdoor activities so I won't lose any momentum.


Cam, I just noticed you're here! Great to see you again! Loved the wedding pics in your siggie! You & Howard both looked awesome!
