people have until April 5th to vote on a name. I think the poll for it was a couple pages back if you didn't vote yet.

So by the 5th we will have our name!!

Sorry I haven't been around much, life has been too busy... hope to be more active here soon. I did go vote on the cruise name(although my vote is in 3rd place, lol). Hard for me to vote on a cupid since I leave my hubby home when I cruise ... hey, but whatever the group wants, is fine with me. Hope to be back posting more soon. After this LONG winter, the thoughts of something great to break up next winter is making this cruise even more convincing!

I just sent the request to join the Facebook page and I hope I am doing this right. It will be me (Shannon), my husband and our daughter (she will be almost 7 on our trip) in our room and our friends in their daughter next to us.

This is my first post & our first cruise! We are huge Disney fans and are counting the days (309) until our sail date! I just sent the request to join the Facebook page and I hope I am doing this right. It will be me (Shannon), my husband and our daughter (she will be almost 7 on our trip) in our room and our friends in their daughter next to us.

We want to join in on the FE fun- how do we get involved? Thank you!

On the FB page there is a sign up sheet for the FE. Just click on the link, you cant miss it. Also at the bottom of the FE page are links to other events we are doing on sea days.

We have a scrapbooking meet, Valentine cookie recipe exchange, ladies only meet, mixology for adults only, a site to sign up for wrist bands that match so we can recognize each other around the ship. They are inexpensive, the more we order the less they cost, approximate $2. Also a sign up to make our own matching shirts to wear so we recognize each other. Usually people wear them the first day after boarding the ship at a group meet. We will pick a picture to use as a group, then each person will use a t shirt or tank top they buy and print it off on iron on transfer paper onto their shirt to wear.
If someone doesn't have a printer I can print it off for them and they can just pay for the transfer paper and postage. That's really an easy and inexpensive way to have matching shirts.

Anyway please check out the other things listed there. The cruise is far enough out you can always change your mind later about stuff too.
Plus 2 or 3 pages back there is a poll to name our group. Today is the last day to vote on the names, so if your interested go back and vote today.

Hi everyone!! I thought I would check in while sitting here in the world of labor and delivery (babies take their own time when it comes to entering this world )

Welcome Shannon! With you, I think we are up to 3 Shannon's cruising! Who knew we would be so popular? I am guessing we were all born in the late 60's early 70's era? It's 1970 for me....the height of Shannon popularity!

This being the 5th of April, I am assuming we will know the group name results tomorrow sometime? Here's hoping, so DD can spend her weekend creating!!

Hi Shannon, you need to tell those babies to hurry up!! My first took over 24 hours, half was hard labor. UGH!!! The rest were much better. I told them during my pregnancy there was no running past my due date and taking their time arriving!! They must have listened because they were on time.

Off to look at more houses today and tonight or tomorrow night we will be going to Epcot.

I am so anxious for our cruise, I just talked to my husband last night about moving our cruise up to October instead, lol! We aren't going to, but it is hard to wait, isn't it?? I am really interested in booking our next cruise while on board for our upcoming cruise. Do people really have good success with it? With all of the extras?

Hi Brady,

we often book on board for the room credits and percentage off, usually 10% off and low down payments. Worked great for us. We usually do it the first night when the booking desk opens up. Don't leave it until the last night of the cruise or it will be a long wait.

Well I would say you lucked out with no labor but I also had 1 C-section and you still have plenty of pain!! of course since the baby is born you can take pain meds to help.

I think you could make a million bucks if you knew how to make those babies come when the mom wants.

Yes, booking on board is great... just book at three night cruise with two adults in it if you are booking a "dummy date"... then the downpayment is really low(like just a little over a hundred bucks).... If you want to transfer it to a travel agent for extra OBC you have to do that though within 30 days or you can name the travel agent when you book. Then whenever you do decide on your cruise date, they extra DCL OBC follows you plus the discount.

Excited about our first cruise with the kids. Going to keep it a surprise until Christmas. Santa is bringing the kids suitcases. We have 2 sons, 11 and 13 at time of cruise, and daughter will be 10.

Not sure about the FE. Looks like fun and I am known to be very crafty but worried about how much room it will take up in the luggage.

Plenty of time to think about the FE. It really is a lot of fun.
Do you scrapbook? We are also having a scrapbook meet on a sea day and a few other fun events. On the FB page for this group there is a place to sign up for the FE and at the bottom of that page are links to several other events. Please check them out and sign up for anything you might like. The exact details for each event will be announced closer to the cruise.

Are you going to put some kind of note or something inside the suitcases?
