February 6th 2016 - Fantasy Western Cruise

For anyone who wants to sign up for mixology, we have requested two classes hopefully on Sunday and Thursday afternoon (not Star Wars day!) we have also requested to have different beverages made as some may want to do both.
Email fantasyfebruary2016@gmail.com with name/stateroom for each person signing up and if you want Sunday/Thursday or both.

It's $20 per person, 1 hours class and 5 drinks made - tons of fun!

Please note this list is provided to DCL and you will be auto-billed regardless of attendance. We will find out specific days/times 30 days before sail date, where anyone can opt-out if necessary.

Hi, all - first time cruisers here, can't wait! Here with two other couples, one Platinum members and one second timers - we're the newbies.

Hi everyone, we are the second timers mentioned above :)

I read about a special dessert party at Remy's but I am not sure how much it is. Can't really go wrong with a 5 course dessert menu. :) Pompidou's Dessert Party—a new onboard experience

My husband and I are booked for this cruise to celebrate my 30th birthday. The Star Wars is just a plus for my husband. This will be our third Disney cruise and first on the Fantasy and to the Caribbeans.

We just signed up this weekend!! It's my son's 10th birthday and he has no idea!! He's going to be so surprised!!

Hi Jen, welcome! Signups for mixology and fe exchange are in the first post :)

Hello All! We just booked this cruise! We just got off the Feb. 7th Fantasy cruise and had a great time. This will be our 3rd disney cruise. My kids are very excited about the Star Wars theme and I'm happy its to some different ports than the last cruise (although I loved St. Thomas!). We have 3 boys and for now have booked rooms 9002/9004.
I am so happy that Brian and I are going to be joining you and the family!!!!! Great memories to come.

Finally were able to book onto this cruise with 2 other couples, one of whom has never Disney cruised.

Hi All! I took the plunge and joined the awesome Disboard... been a creeper for a while! The hubs and I will be enjoying our second Disney cruise this week, and my darling in-laws will be joining us for their first cruise!! I am so excited!!!

For all the newbies to this group, if you're interested - don't forget to sign up for the FE exchange - http://goo.gl/forms/uIVZaXuo4p

Hi Everyone, we just registered for this cruise last week on our Northern European Cruise!! So excited. This will be our 7th Disney Cruise and 2nd time on the Fantasy. Is there a FB site for the FE? I want to join.

We are sailing with you all this trip. This will be our 3rd time on the Fantasy and 9th on DCL. The fantasy is our favorite. I love this itinerary having another day at sea is awesome. I’m looking forward to Cozumel and going to Paradise beach and just relax under the palm trees and swim in their pool. In addition, I am looking forward to doing the wave runner stingray city rum point adventure. We did it last time we were in Grand Cayman and had the best time. I am traveling with my DW Jennifer, my DD 15 and my DS 12.

I've done the sting ray city excursion before...so much fun! Is Paradise Beach an excursion? We have a 2 younger children, 8 and 5, and were not even looking at getting off the boat except for Castaway Cay. Hubby and I have been on cruises before, never Disney, and we've done Cozumel and Grand Cayman. We're just iffy on taking the kids off the boat. They would probably just enjoy swimming anyway!

The stingray excursion is not with DCL it was with island marketing. It was amazing. The DCL excursion was packed. There were 8 of us. You get on a waverunner and ride out 6 miles to the sandbar. Then you snorkel. Then you head 4 miles to rum point. Then it is the 8 miles back to the resort you set off from. Nothing like getting it on a wave runner across the ocean.

Paradise beach is a private club that is a $ 14 cab ride away. There is a minimum charge of $3 for use of their chairs / hamocks which includes access to the pool and free wifi.
They charge $14.00 for use of their water toys. Their food is inexpensive and good. Their changing rooms are clean and they have lockers. A canadian runs the place and the pool is the largest on cozumel. It is a beautiful place.

Thinking ahead and theorizing.. I'm wondering if BBB will do Star Wars themed makeovers like they do for Pirate nights.
