hope everyone is doing well. So this morning they were working on the road in front of my house and that woke me up at 7:00am, I don't have work today and couldn't fall back asleep. This cruise seems so close yet so far away, but basketball season starts at the end of this month and I go to San Fran in November 6th so that will help pass some time then

Looks like I'm late to the party! I'll be joining you on this cruise! Looks like I have 42 pages to catch up on. LOL We booked so long ago, I actually introduced myself on the first page of this thread, we are right now starting to really think about the cruise! I am trying to get our night before accomadations worked out this week. I'm going to try and be active on this thread until we sail!

I'm Jennifer and will be sailing with my DH and our two DDs 5 & 1. This with be our 3rd time sailing with DCL. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Hi Jennifer and Family!!!!!! I'm a rookie member of the Bushwacker Club so I really don't know what I'm getting into with Johnna and Tink and Brenda....but I do know they are always on the lookout for new members. Right Ness?

Tomorrow is TGIF!!!!!

And, DH and I leave Sunday for WDW with my niece and her family. We haven't been to WDW with little ones since they came with us in 2004. Now her kids are--turning 9 next week while at WDW, 5 1/2, and 3. I'M SO EXCITED!!!!! Does that sound like a Disney commercial???? Of course, not as excited as I'll be to meet all of you in person on our "magical" cruise!

Can I ask when everyone is arriving in Orlando or the port area, and what hotel you are staying in post if you are??

We are flying in on the 26th (Thurs) Staying at the Crowne Plaza just north of the airport. Then we are heading to the port and the Radisson for Friday night.

We fly in on the 26th as well to Saratoga Springs, off to the port on Sat and then back to Saratoga for two more nights when we get back.

well since we are going on the cruise before this one also we will be arriving on the 20th and staying at the hyatt at the airport and then onto the Disney Magic on the 21st-march 7th

Hello everybody!
Man it's been crazy busy around here.
Made it back this past Monday from the Everest Expedition Challenge 5K. My first race and what better place to do it at than WDW?
It was a blast!!!

I am thinking we will drive from Tallahassee to the port really really early on embarkation day, I am thinking the port is at around 5 hours from us, but I might change my mind and stay at a value the night before and then just drive on over to port from there.

I would hate car troubles or something else making us loose the boat

As for advance planning..that is exactly why we are flying in 2 days prior! We are not willing to risk missing that boat!!!
We also are doing the direct flight down, and booked a connecting flight back... I don't really care if we get delayed on the return!

My fam and I will be flying out the day before and we'll be staying at the Hyatt.
I'm hoping to get to the port early and being one of the first groups on the ship! I hope, I hope, I hope!

Welcome (back) Jennifer. Our DD's are the same age - I'm glad she'll have some more playmates!!

As for the night before - we too are coming in on Thursday, and we're staying at the Residence Inn - using points, we usually stay free. And we've stayed at the Radisson before, it's good too, but the free hotel typically wins because it gives us more $$ for... what else... our BAR TAB!!

And congrats Alan on the LA victory; but that means a good friend is probably contemplating which knife is sharpest and will work best to slit her wrists about the Cubs.

We are flying down from Calgary on the 27th and staying at the Hyatt right at MCO... unless we decide to really spurge and come a few days early and spend the extra time at WDW.

Since my Jays didn't make the postseason, I'm reverting to my backup favourite, the Bosox. Alan, maybe we'll meet you in the World Series and Manny can try to ruin the dance for his old team...

Hey John,

Just curious, what airlines are you flying with for this trip?

I also thought I should mention that we were only in CL from May 2002 until July 2005, and DH spent the entire time in 441. Mostly tool crib and in phase. It will be interesting to see if you know each other!

Carolyn, did you make any flight rezzies yet?? I am going to be watching Westjet and will try to get a flight credit if our flights go on sale. I don't think that will be until Jan or so though.
