yeah, at least the cruise isn't during baseball season then , it will be Basketball season, so I'll be following that, last time I went on the magic it was baseball season and Yankee's were playing and half the people in diversions were cheering for them, and people I meet thought everyone was nuts, that's a time I won;t forget

The winter blues are at their peak here in Michigan as we are expecting more snow later today and tonight We are aching to get away!!!

We are thinking of this cruise. RIght now we have a 7 nighter booked for August 09, but are a bit worried about the heat in the Caribbean that time of year.

We've only ever cruised in December and January during slow seasons for the most part. Can anyone here tell me what the kid-crowd level is like onboard this time of year? We're also coming from the northeast, so the weather is a little bit concerning for us, too. Anyone have any thoughts on the bad weather and flights in February?

My wife and I will be on this one. the first day at sea, 3/1 will be my 34th birthday. It will be our 5th time on DCL and the 4th time on the Magic.

We LOVE cruising this time of year. The Caribbean weather is perfect for curing the winter blahs. The kid-crowd level is fine - though I can't compare it to anything else. As for the weather and flights - we are in MD, and we fly down on Thursday or Friday so as not to have the stress about bad weather and flights. Not that it's ever been an issue, but we just don't want it to become one.

I am a diehard baseball fan. I am also a diehard Dodger fan. I love them almost more than my wife, though she will tell you that she comes second. Now for all you east coasters, the team I hate the most is the Giants, but a very close second is the Yankees. I am a proud owner of both Giant, and Yankee sucks shirts. Now I am by no means a Red Sox fan either. I have a strong dislike of the AL all together due to the DH. It should be outlawed, or as Crash Davis said, " I belive in a constiuntional admentment agenst the DH"

And you are lucky to be a Dodgers fan because of Vin Scully. I have XM Radio and sometimes stay up until 10:30 just to hear him. The man is a living legend.

I love Vin. I can't imagine a game without him. I can't wait till Sat. when the first game of the year is on T.V. and I get to hear him say "It's time for Dodger Baseball." I have been waiting since Sep. to hear that. Life will begin again. I could not agree with you more about astroturf, but since you can have grass in a dome now, like lets say Phoenix, I can't get on board with the dome statement. Imagine watching a game at 1:00 P.M. in Phoenix and trying to watch a game when it is 120 outside. Yuck
