Not a problem at all! You can make them or purchase them. They can be fancy or very simple (made from paper or cardboard). I got mine from ebay (just do a search for "fish extender"). Not many cruisers have them - but they are fun, especially for your kids. My husband and I sometimes leave gifts for our own girls. Remember to also bring some magnets for your stateroom door!

What I was getting at is, she is done. She started laying out stuff months ago. So when I saw what we picked you last night at the dry cleaners, I decided to throw her for a loop and say I wanted to take all this. Now the rest of my packing will be done by 4 A.M. On Wed. Cause that is what time I am heading to the airport.

Can't wait! This is our 4th onboard the Magic. We have three daughters ages 3, 4 and 9.

Has anyone scheduled a fish extenders group?

We had discussed the Fish Extenders several months ago and decided against doing an organized FE exchange...

We do however have a Dis Meet planned for Saturday at 3:00 in the Promenade Lounge, this will be right before the Life Boat drill which is at 4:00....
So hopefully we will see you there!!!!!

I have pretty much all of my packing done, I work everyday up to and including the day we leave, so it's all in my suitcase, I just have a few last minute things to throw in and then I'm all set - the problem was my suitcase seemed smaller than I remembered! Haha - not really, but it's packed pretty full, I'm worried about room for purchases, but I'll figure that out once I'm there

We're almost there! One week from tomorrow we'll all be on that amazing ship! Can't Wait!!!

Is it worth scrambling then and getting FE for our cruise on the 28th? Sorry, we just booked this a few weeks back last minute. We have had some rough times the last few months and really needed to get away.

I feel like I'm missing something.

First, we've completed all the documents available online - payment authorization, passport info, etc.

Then, I printed off the "cruise contract" signature page.

Is this the only thing we need when we go to the terminal, plus passports?

I really feel like there must be something else.

It really is pretty simple, just remember that you do need your drivers license to get into the port!!!!!! They will ask for it before letting you into the gate of the terminal, they have a list of all the passengers.

Also make sure you have your DCL luggage tags on your luggage (put these on after you are done flying, we usually put them on the morning before we arrive at the terminal)

I have never done the FE myself, but what I have done is have little gifts that I have either set out for my girls myself or had our State room host do so for me, I usually would surprise them with it on their beds after the beds had been turned down.

Another FUN idea that I have done is have a gift basket from " The Perfect Gift" delivered to our room so that when we first walk into our state room it is there waiting for them!!!!
The Perfect Gift comes VERY highly recommended on this thread, the owner Shirley really does go out of her way to make every basket special!!! You can talk to her and tell her specific things you would like in it. One year I even mailed stuffed to her.

So I guess it is more of a personal preference on wither you decide to do the FE or not...

Wish you were on the 2-28-09 cruise!!!!!!!!

Where is the 3/13/10 cruise heading to?????
I say every year that we are going to wait two years before we go back, then we book onboard thinking that we will move the date and don't

But we would LOVE to cruise with you guys again, so we will have to wait and see what happens this time around

I checked weather.com today and the weather looks good so far
They are forecasting Fri and Sat to be 75, hope that holds true!!!!

We will miss the Tink family
Have a great week at WDW and know that I will be thinking of you, esp. @ Palo's and Pirate Night when I am eating my Turkey Leg LOL!!!!!
Funny how a TURKEY leg can remind me of Stinkie Tinkie!!!

YIPPEE! The ironing is done and all our clothes are in the guest bedroom ready to be put into the suitcases!!!!

Tink...sure wish you and your family were going with us next week on the Magic!!!! We usually only cruise once every 2-3 years but if we book another for next spring we'll definitely choose 3-13-10!

Does anyone know the url for the port canaveral webcam? Might have to take a look at the MAGIC tomorrow...maybe we'll see DMMarla or Dave or Michael waving goodbye...

At this time, next week we'll be at Downtown Disney!!!!!

Hey kids....well we arrived last night and had a nice time with friends. Today was family day and we destroyed my sister's with Confetti bombs. I learned to dance like a biscuit and I am SO ready for the cruise tomorrow!

Yipee, we leave Wednesday for the World! I just found out we got main dining too (we has been waitlisted) and am so excited! My daughter and I went shopping tonight in the nice snowstorm and she got another swim suit and a couple of pairs of shorts. She still needs a pair of shoes for one of her dresses, and tomorrow I am on the hunt for a pair of capris! Can't wait for the Florida sun! Oh yeah, we are in two cat 5's, deck 7!

Yes, I went to let the dogs out this morning too and my pekinese looked at me liked what the heck? But I guess nothing surprises me in the state of Minnesota.
I think I am going to head to Rosedale, my daughter saw a pair of heels she liked at Shi, other wise if no luck there out to Arbor Lakes! I have not sen water shoes, only flip flops................happy hunting!
