Yes, this is why I am removing myself from the list. It seems as though people are irritated/confused about my decision to not use a FE or bag. I understand if that is required now which is why I am not going to participate.

It may seem silly to you but I simply do not want to put a bag on my door and I am not crafty enough to make a cute FE that would look nice on my door.

No worries, I just want to make sure people remove us from the list of those who are participating. Have fun with your exchange!

I used the first of my luggage tags today,...on a suitcase full of FE gifts! My husband thinks I'm crazy. Luckily we're driving from the Bay Area and don't have to check anything on a plane. I just hope that the porters at the cruise terminal aren't too rough on the gifts though,...don't want everything to get crushed!
So relieved I have one thing checked off for the cruise. Now on to packing everyone's clothes,...

I'm just glad that I have two kids... because on southwest you get 2 bags each... so 4 tickets=8 bags... plenty of room for everything!

The whole luggage situation is now why I wished we were on either Jetblue or Southwest....up until Feb. 1 my DH was premier executive on United, so we could check our bags for free...well, that expired and not he doesn't have the status I am trying to figure out how to get everything out there now without paying a fortune...I may just ship out my FE items to my friend's house (we are staying with them pre-cruise). Of course that means, I have to get going and finish them....almost done, but not quite! Hopefully I can work on them this weekend and get them all done! Of course I still have to make my actual F/E Why I am on this board right now and not working on my items is beyond me!

Hi all,

I thought I would start a Fish Extender thread for our cruise.

We did FE's on our last cruise and it was great, the kids loved getting all the gifts ready. Then they really enjoyed taking them round the ship looking for the right doors. And most of all seeing their faces when we came back to our room and found loads of gifts was a picture.

Anyway enough of the waffle.

I had thought I was being good making stuff for the FE's that is small and won't take up much room in the case. But maybe the drinks bag will come in handy for taking all the gifts home in

I remember you signing up. If you have not been in contact with IndianaPrincess then you will probably have been removed from the list. If you PM her quickly I'm sure it wont be a problem to add you back on. We needed numbers a few weeks ago because we are all doing the final bits for our gifts

Hey - I can add you in on the newcomer list. Most people on the list can exchange with the newcomers, but as we add more in there will be a point where their supplies run out. I just want to be honest.

WOW!!!! 11 more sleeps!!! So how is everyone doing with their FE's? I just finished and I am sooo excited to start my vacation!!!!
I have been going over the navigators and I just want to do EVERYTHING!!!
Is everyone getting off the boat in both ports?

Ooh, Disneylover, do we have to distribute the FE's that way? I was kind of thinking that my DD and I would distribute gifts a floor a day. I don't want to get too overwhelmed with having tons of gifts to lug around and so much ground to cover that I don't get it done! So if I am supposed to sign up for a specific day for delivery, please let me know. Otherwise, we are going to deliver all of our gifts per deck on a daily basis (deck one, day one, deck two, day two, etc.)
