February 27th 2011 Mexican Riviera aboard the Wonder

Another cruise doc question from me....my friend got hers via FedEx...are they all mailed out via FedEx? Just curious bc we are not home during the day when FedEx would deliver....

Our docs came via regular snail mail...where does your friend live? I don't know why they would be different unless they were in a different country:confused3

We received our docs via regular mail today as well!:cool1:
So excited!

We are on the second seating for dinner and I'm just wondering how my kids are gonna hold up that late to hang out and be up since they are 5 and 3 and usually go to bed around 8:30pm. I know I'll be able to grab them food before our dinner time but I'm REALLLLYYY hoping they'll won't become crankypants and be able to stay up that late. Hoping that Dine and Play works out for us...

Our DD is 4 and we have late seating as well. I'm a little concerned, but I think that in the next couple of weeks I'll be letting her stay up a bit later than usual, all in hopes of using the dine and play (if it's working) and getting to spend some time with my DH. With any luck, the excitement of the kids club will keep them going and maybe they will sleep in a bit in the mornings??? A girl can dream...

Got ours today too! :cool1: They are so beautiful! :lovestruc
We are also in the second seating and since DD (19 months) usually eats around 6:30 pm I'm a tad worried but I think we'll be ok. I'll just order room service or something for her if she's very hungry :thumbsup2

Our docs arrived today!!! :cool1: So very excited. My daughter and I have a special girls only shopping trip planned for tomorrow to find some great cruise clothes. Should be fun!

Hi Everyone,

We haven't received our docs yet either.

A 3:00 meet and greet on the first day sounds great to us.

We have some friends on the current sailing, so I am anxious for them to come back to give me a cruise update and let me see the Navigators.

Rachel

Hi Rachel!
I would love to see the Navigators as well if your friends share them with you. :thumbsup2

Thanks!
Pam

We got our cruise docs today too through USPS! :cool1: For some reason, with the name "cruise docs" I was expecting a sheaf of papers (like mortgage papers) Lol! :rotfl: The little booklet is pretty cute although, I wish they had updated the information since it says the info is accurate through 1/24/2011 and they canceled the Mazatlan port on 1/21... Still super excited! :cheer2: 27 DAYS!!!!

Pam (Me) :cloud9:, DH :cool1:, DS (11) :cool1:, DS (8) :cool1:

Well, we are at snow day #4 so far this year as of today and with 12 - 20 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow, that will be #5! I am very jealous of all of you living in the warm climates...this is when I really miss living in California! I just have to keep telling myself...only a few more weeks until we are back in sunny weather. :beach:

Hi friends! Just a quick comment for those who are first time cruisers and have concerns about late dinners...

You don't HAVE to eat dinner in the restauraunts! They are fun, but ours have always lasted about 1 1/2 hours-2 hours, and honestly for our family, that's just too long. So we don't do any of the assigned-table-assigned-time dinners. We eat room service, counter service, or the sit down restauraunt where you can order from a menu and have table service but you don't have to have such a long dinner.

Looking forward to lots of fun!!

Got docs as well!! Still says Mazatlan and my excursion time for Cabo on the 2nd cabo day doesn't show the updated time. this must have been printed early before the changes!

I am sooo excited I can't contain myself. I am really hoping for main dining...my 86 year old grandpa cannot eat later than 7pm or he is up all not with sever acid reflux and heartburn. that would put a damper on our cruise because he would have to basically eat early and then come hang out with us in the restaurants. We are not fans of eating at the buffet...it is OK once but we love the restaurants!

I'm Leo. My DW Amy and I booked this cruise for my DD Shannon's 9th birthday. We were planning on surprising her on boarding day because it's her birthday, but we decided to surprise her last week because she looked bummed that the Wonder was here in Los Angeles and she didn't know if we were ever going to get on it in the near future.

This is our first cruise on the Wonder and our 3rd Disney Cruise. We did the Mex Riviera in 2005 and 2008 on the Magic. Once you go DCL... :cool1:

We look forward to hopefully meeting everyone.

Has anyone booked port excursions? We booked the Paradise Beach Adventure for Vallarta. Not sure if we're going to book anything for the other ports.

This will be our first Disney cruise...we are very excited. I have a 6 year old girl & almost 3 year boy (fingers crossed I get him into the kids club)....we would love to do the FE....how does it work? is someone supposed to organize it?

I just saw your thread about the fe exchange...is it too late to join. I have 2 kids ages 3 & 6.

THEY CAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our cruise docs came today!!!! OMG it seems so real, and official, and I am so excited I can hardly breathe!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Wow, it is official, I now have my docs. They arrived yesterday regular mail.

I'm getting even more excited reading some of the posts from people that recently returned and looking at the Navigators. Less than a month to go.

Rachel :cool1:

Just wanted to let you kids all know that on-line check in has changed. They want more info now and even give you an area to chose your port arrival time! I'm guessing it's due to all of the confusion that seemed to occur on the 1st 7 day MR cruise?:confused3

Anyway, just go to your reservation and edit/complete on-line check in...you will see the changes.

I would send in one of the medical request forms for your grandpa!
