Hope you see this...and how do we know when someone has answered one of our posts?? Is there a setting somewhere...AND pictures...how do I set my picture?? I'm so lost!

Just wanted to jump in here and introduce myself. We are a family of 5 (DD 8 DS 5 and DD 1.5) This will be our first cruise and we are really excited! I would love to join in the FE, but I need to look into it some more before committing.

I can't wait to get to know everyone!

We made the mistake of telling DD that we're going on a Disney cruise, and she is super excited and keeps asking how much longer until we can go. We will also be cruising with DH's parents and his sister's family, and it will be the first Disney cruise for all of us.

that's hysterical!! I had a similar situation so I had to tell her that the Disney Cruise wasn't till after New Orleans, after San Diego, and after Costa Rica...so she knows ALL those have to happen first....so yesterday she asked if we were leaving for NOLA soon?? lol....

I am a single mommy who grew up in Los Angeles (San Fernando Valley) and moved to Northern Cal about 6 years ago. We have had annual passes for Disneyland forever and go as much as we can!!

Howdy neighbor! <waving from Inglewood> We should meet up at Disneyland sometime... how fun would it be for our DDs to meet ahead of time and have a built-in friend on the cruise! My Celeste turned five in April.

You can quote someone's post by clicking the "quote" button in the bottom right hand corner of their post... or, click the button next to it (like a plus sign) and you can click that on multiple posts and it will quote each one for you. Very handy, the multi-quote feature.

Welcome to the thread! I'm surprised that my 2 aren't asking non-stop when we are going. They know it's after Christmas and are being more patient than I am.

Has anyone started shopping yet? We haven't but I have been checking out customized Disney shirts and some of the boutique-style girls Disney outfits you can get on Etsy. I was also checking out the FE thread with ideas for Canadians, so we can bring some items that aren't available in the U.S. They had some good ideas!

Michelle, nice family pics! Too funny about Prince Charming. My 6 year old was excited to see another 6 year old who will be cruising at the same time.

Hi there.....sorry for the late reply funny enough we were at Disneyland all day...watched the World of Color for the first time...very cool.
And OMG yes! We definitey should meet at the park one day...which pass do you guys have? We go about once a month so this was our June Disney Day!
So you've been before right? Tell me more about the FE's? Do we give peeps gifts daily or do we just have set families we give to one day of the cruise??

I would like to make it extra special for my daughter, who will be 4 at the time of sailing, and for my husband, who will still be old at the time of sailing (haha). Any suggestions from you seasoned Disney cruisers would be appreciated!

Hey Twinkledust! I'm new too...to the Disney Cruise at least so I'm taking hints from them all here...there's the FE's program that if you read through the thread you'll see and Secret Mickey and the HD Mickey Pain chips too....that's what I have so far...

Thanks Claudine! I was reading about the FE's and went ahead and looked into them. Some of the photos are darling! I'm not much into sewing but I can do a lot of damage with a glue gun! Also will start looking into magnets for the door...but I read that sometimes people steal these??? Whatever.
So excited for this trip but need to calm down...so much else to get through first! Love doing all of the research to make this a great trip!
By the way...been past Granada Hills many times on my way to Simi Valley as I have cousins up there! Love the area up there too!
