Just curious, who's booked Captain Marvin's on the 1/2 day tour that leaves at 10:00 am?

Kim,
We're going on Captain Marvin's 1/2 trip. I think ours leaves at 11:15 so we need to be at their office in town at 10:45.

Rick

Rick,
We also will be on the 1/2 day with Captain Marvins leaving at 11:15.
Last time I was in Grand Cayman I was booked to see the stingrays and brought a virus on board with us and it was my day to get it, never made it off the boat. Better luck this time.....

Alicia

Got our docs yesterday,we will be cruisin, before you know it. :thumbsup2 We haven't booked any excusions yet, ds is only three, and most excursions have a min age of 5. He is in day care every day, but we are not sure how he will take to the club. :scratchin

Jennifer

Sorry Rick,
Just checked, our 1/2 day tour leaves at 10:00. The short trips leaves at 11:15, maybe you are on that one. Kim, maybe we will be on the same boat....

Hello, Question does anybody know what night the Pirate party is, and Formal night? And another question has anyone ever brought a my-Fi(portable XM unit) my husband keeps telling me that he thinks it will work but I don't think
so and why pack something that you can't use.

And I know that cells phones don't work on the boat (I have absolutly not problem with that) do they work in Key West? (stupid question I know)

Pirate night is Cozumel night, which is Wednesday night. Bring your eye patches and wenches! (I'm only joking with that one people!) arrrrrr

Don't know which night is formal night - someone else can take that one. I do recall that whichever night that is - that's captain's gala and I get a free drink from it!
Kim

I THOUGHT formal night was Monday (first at sea) but I am not positive.
Also, we are going on Captain Marvins at 10 and have a trip to "Hell" and the turtle farm attached in there somewhere. I thought we took a half day trip and added the 2 other places.
Did we find out for SURE when we will know if we are going to Cozumel?
Kim... I will get that info to you probably tomorrow as I am getting ready to go into work til 1 in the morning. No guys, don't fret... they are letting us watch the game and ordering us wings and soda!!! May the best team win!!!
Karen

Jennifer,
We have booked the stingray city and rreef snorkeling tour with them for Grand Caymen. I have read quite a few great reviews about them. They take smaller groups and you don't have the mad rush at the stingray city because you go to other places also.

Maybe we'll be on the same excursion

by the way they were much cheaper than DCL

Has anyone used the company Grand Cayman Excursions? They look like they have some great stuff, I'm just hesitant to book with a company without any references. I included a link for one of the tours were thinking about.

Hi Jennifer:

We booked the jeep tour through grand cayman excursions dot com. I've not used them before though so we'll see. I guess I felt okay about it since we only had to put a 15% deposit down.

I've got down that Formal Night is Monday, Pirate Night is Wednesday, and Semi-Formal Night is Thursday.

And when we booked our cruise on the ship last year we forgot we get a $200.00 stateroom credit, then when we transferred to AAA they were offering $150.00 stateroom credit, in total that's $350.00, that about takes care of our bar tab (LOL) :cool1: .
Also asked about Cozumel, as of right now we are going. They will make phone calls a week out to let us know if we are not going. If we don't get those phone calls that means we are going. Have a great week. :sunny:

Norm (Kim's Husband)
PS: She is upstairs cleaning while I'm downstairs downloading music for our trip. :cool1:

Hi jayv1. We have a 3yo DS (he'll be 4 in March) It was hard to book alot of excursions becuz of his age and I was kind of bumming about that! :guilty: I still dont know how comfortable I would be leaving him on the ship while we go and do something. We booked the Nautilus semi-submarine in GC cuz he can go on that. Oh well we'll just have to book more excursions when we go on our NEXT cruise!!! :cool1:

I don't think the XM radio will work once we get out to sea. I believe we will be outside the satellite footprint.

Cell phones will not work while we're at sea and at Castaway Cay. They will work while in ports. Not sure about your carrier, but we use Cingular and we had service in all ports.

:cool1: :cool1: F I N A L L Y ! ! :cool1: :cool1: we are doing the doc dance!

Well that was a fun Super Bowl . . . Good thing the snow storm died out overnight. We only got a couple of inches. Just enough to make everthing look nice and snowy.

Here's hoping we get our docs tomorrow . . . .

Who is staying by the airport on Friday night? We are staying at the Marriott. I know of a good ice cream shop nearby that we could have a mini-pre-meet if there are folks staying around the area.

Rick

Has anyone heard anything yet regarding Cozumel?? I thought I read here that one of you had spoken with DCL regarding this. Any official word?? When doyou think we will know for sure?? I know sometimes they substitute Caosta Maya and sometimes Nassau. I'm curious where we'll go....

Rick, In reading thru the forum, you are a world of info [do you work for disney]

I am collecting all this info, and have a few I'd like to ask...

I am not to big for excurions, curious if there is a beach, or town within walking distance of Port on each stop ?

SPA: We are going to need a couples massage, we did one in SanJuan that was heaven. had another on Princess cruz & thought i got beaten up. I see disney has a few different ones, any suggestions for a muscle/stress relieving massages?

I saw the "DIS meet on Sunday morning at 11:00 (before Key West) around the Goofy Galley (formally Scoops)." I'll try to be there

Photo Lisa, I like your iron on, is ok to use that for a T ?

I've been listening to Radio Disney on my sat radio at work to get into the mood. Just heard the Cha Cha Slide. I hope no one saw me practicing . . . .
