February 25, 2006 Western Magic Cruisers!!

I thought I saw it too today, but alas, I was wrong. Oh well, at least I got all the holiday decorations down. Plus, I don't have to watch the Lions anymore this season either.

Life can be good sometimes . . . .

I saw it too :sunny: albeit a brief two minutes or so, but I'll take it. Probably the last time until Tuesday or Wednesday they say. I always think of others not so fortunate, like the Texas wildfires, and then I realize we've got it pretty darn good after all.

Have a great Sunday! :daisy:

Sorry everyone I guessed I jinxed it!! Sun is gone. You're right Donna we are so very fortunate!!

I hope I got the right green Mickey swatches.... oh well... if I am off a shade, that is nothing new!!! :confused3 :rotfl2: :rotfl2: You wil know it is ME!!! I have my swatches packed and ready to go!!! ::yes::
I would lOVE to share my Florida sunshine with you guys :sunny: :sunny: .
It is a tad bit chillly here.... I brought my turtles in from the pond.
Speaking of temps.... does anyone know the temp of Coz and Cayman?

Whay is that big shiny ball in the sky!!?? WOOOO HOOOO!!! SUNSHINE!!! :sunny:

I read (Ann Arbor News maybe) that our area (Detroit) got 8 minutes of sun in December. My first thought was "sounds right."

Hey everyone. CT got snow AND sunshine today.

Sat down to watch Into the Blue today. Lots of sunshine and Bahamian water there. Excellent movie. And it just reminded me of snorkeling in the warm I-can-see-my-toes water!

Current (6 p.m. CST) Cozumel temp is 72 degrees; Cayman 76 degrees.

Average Cozumel February temps are 84/68; Cayman 81/73.

Now doesn't that sound nice! :p

I have a friend who just returned from a cruise on Carnival and she told me that they had an basket in there cabin that contained personal care items such as razors, shampoo, soaps, toothpaste etc... and there was a shampoo and soap dispenser in the bathroom to there cabin which cut down on some of the items that they needed to bring. Does anyone know if Disney does the same? :confused3

I believe DCL only provides this type of stuff in the Cat 1-3 cabins. They do provide bar soap, shampoo/conditioner combo, and lotion. Best to bring everything you need from home.

Okay, I know I said I was ready to go, but I think it's official now. My DH just informed me that my updated passport arrived today :hyper:

Thanks Rick for the info. I'm starting to get things together to start packing. Don't want to bring to much but don't want to forget anything either.

I'm jealous hearing about everybody having snow. Here in South Louisiana we are having one of the mildest winters I have ever seen. We are still having temperatures in the mid 70's. It feels like Spring. It is rare that we have snow so with our luck it will snow while we are baking in the caribbean. :rotfl2: Hey you guys blow some cold air down here.

What is up with this weather? After a very cold and snowy December, we are having the mildest January I can remember (although you wouldn't know by looking at my heating bill). At least we saw the sun yesterday. I even had the car washed.

My sister and her family leave in three weeks for a week at the Mouse House. We're now at the 6.5 week mark.

Enjoy your Wednesday everyone . . .

Rick

Cajun... as far as the toiletries go .... there MAY be a possibility that, if you get the REAS package (and I have no idea how you would even do that... my bad!!!) that you MAY get a small basket of goodies.. but I am not positive on this.
Next... I am thinking of doing a Mickey swatch when I am waiting in line along with the morning of the meet, just in case.... that way if anyone sees me... they know I am a "dis"er from this thread.
Keeping busy and getting WAY excited!!! I am lucky though... I have 2 concerts to go to to get my mind off the cruise.... (yeah, right...) Tomorrow is Billy Joel with my DD25 and next week is Aerosmith with my DD25 and DS 21. Just am having too many fun things happen! I will go into breakdown mode after the cruise!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey Karen I too planned on wearing a Mickey swatch when we board. My family thinks I'm crazy!! :upsidedow I know what you mean about concerts! We go to see Bon Jovi on the 28th!! But really dont think that will get my mind off the cruise!! Well...maybe...for the couple of hours that I am watching that gorgeous man!! :hyper: Enjoy your concerts!!!

Holli!!!! You lucky duck!!! He (Bon Jovi) will be here in Tampa also, and I had to make the coice between him or Aerosmith. For some reason I thought Bon Jovi will be around for next time, where Aerosmith... I am too afraid to pass them up for fear I will not get to see them again... or that the ticket prices would be WAY too high. Although Steve Miller Band is playing here also and I was astonished the tickets for their average seat was more than Billy Joels worst seat!!! I saw Steve Miller before (great concert) so it was my gift to my DD for her 25th. I will make a memory with her and my oldest son!!! The way I figure it... yes... our minds will be off the cruise for a few hours but by the time we go to both concerts.... it will only be a little more than 5 weeks until the best fun!!!! :cool1: :cool1: PS Bon JOvi IS beautiful!!! :faint:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well we have seen aerosmith twice and kind of balked at what they were charging for tickets! Although Bon Jovi wasnt too much cheaper! Aerosmith played here in Dec. so I guess with Christmas and all we decided to pass!! I am a big Tom Petty fan!! Although he is the exact opposite in the looks department compared to Bon Jovi!! :rotfl: Also saw Paul McCartney when he was here In Oct!! Its nice to know that we share the same interest in music and like going to concerts!! ::yes::

Holli ~ Yes!! I am the 47 rock n roller mom! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :cool1: Wanted to see Paul but WAY to expensive. Was Aerosmith good? I will let you know how Billy Joel goes. I went and saw Journey last, aside from Neil Diamond and then my Rock opera group Amici and also Josh Groban. I go from one extreme to the other!!! Fun!!! We will HAVE to compare concert wishes when we meet up!! That will be cool! "Sea" you soon! Karen

Karen~I know Paul McCartney was soooooooooo expenseive!! I bought my tickets off of ebay too so that just added to the cost!! But with that being said we were in the 16th row!! But it was worth it. Kinda figured it was like seeing Elvis...just a one time thing!! Well, I'm a 42 yo rock'n mama! My friends tease me but I dont care!! I like all kinds of music too. Also a big country fan!! Well its been fun chating about this! :chat: I hope you have a good day!!!
