It seems like fun. Maybe we could put up a DIS team! :yay:

Good things keep coming in!

Yesterday, I received my pirate night costume: I bought an Elizabeth Swann costume from Disney Shopping in their Semi-Annual Sales. :cool1:

And today, I got a notice telling me my kids' new passports had arrived at the post office. They were only supposed to be mailed monday!

Now if I can only get my stateroom assignment...

Gorgeous costume Soleil! I may have to check Ebay to see if I can find any pirate gear.

Still waiting on that stateroom assignment, too! I must check 3x a day. I've always heard, the longer you wait the better. :p

Also waiting on my passport. When did you mail your kids out? I just mailed mine last Sunday so I'm hoping I'll have them in another week or so. It's also a renewal, so hopefully that'll help.

Still trying to decide what to do when in Nassau.

Hi anllily!

I don't know about the delays in the US, but here in Canada, it's two weeks when you go in person.

I know we've booked approximately at the same time, have you received anything from DCL yet? I know the last papers will be coming in about two weeks before we cruise, but I remember getting something before that (confirmation, booklet...). :confused3

I was just going on the DCL website, knowing I had to wait a few days more and what do I see... my stateroom assignment! :cool1: We will be in 6543. It's a cat. 11.

We still have second dinner however...

Did you get yours anllily?

2519. Cat 12, but I didn't expect more, plus I'm a single traveler, so why waste the upgrade on just me? Seems like a good room though! One of the closest cat 12s to the elevators/stairs.

Plus it allows me to become a stair master (I don't take elevators unless I'm a) tired as anything or b) feeling just a little bit too good ;)). Between that and the fact that I'm going to try and get a mile run in every day hopefully I won't gain any weight.

Should we plan a meet? Someone came up with the idea, but no one really answered...:confused3

I would suggest Promenade Lounge, around 3pm. What do you think?

Hi,

My name is Tabatha, I am 32 from Long Island, NY (orginally from SC). We, my husband Steven, 38, our 2 wonderful boys, Jagger 5 1/2 and Jaxson 3 1/2 and myself will be Boarding the Wonder on Feburary 24, 2008 for our very first Disney Cruise. Actually our very first cruise ever. Thanks to the DIS boards I feel I am totally prepared for this. I have read several great tips on what to bring, what not to bring, excursions and so forth. SoI just wanted to say Hi to you all who will be cruising at the same time. :flower3: I would love to meet up with you on the ship. Please let me know if there will be a meeting time and place. I am soooo excited, I am not really getting much sleep. Kinda like the Disney commerical where the kids can't sleep before thier vacation. LOL TTYS

Tabatha:wizard:

Welcome aboard! :welcome:

I see your kids are the same age as mine (and I'm almost the same age you are: I'll turn 32 in July).

I'm sure you will love the cruise! Feel free to ask any question!

welcome! as I am sure everyone on here will tell you, you are going to love the cruise! :woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:
are you going to the World as well? or just the cruise?
we are bringing our 4-yr-old son, so maybe we'll see you in the club!:)

yeah! more people! Welcome aboard!

Meet and greet at 3 PM? Sounds good to me! I'm right now considering adding a few days at Universal Studios after the cruise. I'd have to change my plane tix (about $200 more :S) and 3 nights hotel and theme park tix would be about $300, no including transfers. I don't know.

Thanks guys for the welcome. We are only doing the cruise. we go to Disney every year and are looking for something new but also that caters to my boys. This seems to be perfect. We should definitely meet. Or at least wear something so we can spot each other. Are you guys doing the fish extenders??

The thing that people hang on the left side of the door. It is a fish. It kind of looks like a little cloth mailbox. People can leave notes and gifts, things of the sort. I only learned about them on DIS as I have never cruised before!!

Feb. 24 (the day we board) would make the most sense, right before the sail-away party.
