In three weeks we'll be packing... (and almost done I hope!) :cool1:  :cheer2: :yay:

3 weeks...ahh, not too much now. Though I need to be packed in 2. I'm going on a business trip from Feb 18-21, so I basically have one day and a few hours back, in which I have to go to work and make sure I'm ready, before I have to turn around and fly to Florida. I could have made the business trip during the same time I'm in Florida, but I decided not to, so instead, I'm going on a cruise.

I got a PoTC shirt in the mail from the Disney Store today, $4.99 and it has Captain Jack on the front and says PoTC: At World's End, for Pirate night. I also got a PJ set. Salmon and yellow colored with piglet and pooh that will definitely be coming with me. Adorable.

If any of you wondered if the Oscars will be shown on board, they should be (if there is a ceremony).:

I did a quick search and it seems they are shown in one of the bars or near Promenade Lounge, and that there is entertainment during the commercials.

Since it is on the first night of the cruise and the first night is usually a variety show, I might go.

Thanks for the info about the Oscars, Soleil! I didn't even realize they were during the week we were cruising!

I got my renewal passport back today! :cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :woohoo:

Only took about 2 1/2-3 weeks, which is excellent! I was hoping I'd have it back by mid Feb, but I got it MUCH quicker, which was awesome. Just regular service, too.

Unfortunately, I can't get onto the Disney reservation site to update my cruise docs and registration info with my new passport.

Hi everyone!

Is it just anllily and me out here? :confused3

Is anyone thinking about rebooking onboard? We've never done it before but this time we will. On our first cruise, we were not sure about booking onboard, but almost as soon as we got back, we wanted to go on an Eastern! On our second cruise, we tought we were done after both doing the 4 nights and the 7 nights... and now we're back (and wishing we had took the 10% and onboard credit)! And we know that we're going on a third, there has to be a fourth (we would like to go on the Western)!

Hi everyone,

We booked with a TA and last I spoke to her she had not received our cruise documents. Has anyone received their cruise documents yet. We are leaving to WDW Feb.18th and I'm concerned that we might not get them before leaving.:scared1:

Disney should send them out at least a week before your *first* segment. I've heard of them being sent out as earlier as 2-3 weeks before. I wouldn't be surprised if your TA receives them any day.

That reminds me that I need to call my TA. :rolleyes1

Thanks anllily.

If anyone receives their documents let us know. Wow in just 2 weeks we'll be at WDW....I'm excited again.

Last year we got our docs on Dec 18th, we were leaving for WDW Jan 1st and going on the Magic Jan 6th. So it was 14 days before leaving and 19 days before the cruise: based on that you should get yours docs anytime now. But we may had them sooner because of the holidays and the fact that we live in Canada. :confused3 We were the first in our meet thread to get them, but everyone got them within three days.

No docs yet. Of course I keep meaning to call my TA because I noticed I had accidentally given them my work's zip code instead of mine, though I did give them my correct address. :rotfl:

That's too bad about first seating being full. Keep trying every couple of days, and if no luck before you sail head there first thing when you get on the ship!

Like Jags, I am so excited I can't sleep! I am also having a hard time imagining what it will be like not to have to wear mittens. Thanks for the link to The Art of Story. I think it looks like a good show.

Like I said earlier, we booked our flight through Disney. I am very happy with it. We leave at 7 in the morning and get there a little after 10. Since I am a little west of Chicago. That means leaving at 3:30 am!:coffee:
I did talk my DH into a limo:thumbsup2 so we wouldnt have to leave the car anywhere besides our garage.

I am going to start packing this weekend. I have 14 days till we leave, 7 more days of work.

Looking forward to meeting all of you!party:

What documents are you guys referring to? We filled out all the stuff on-line what else is there?

Disney will send you a packet of documents including your luggage tags. If you've filled out the online documents you shouldn't need to fill out the documents they send you.

But you will want the luggage tags to put on your luggage so it will arrive in your stateroom safely.

May be other stuff, too, I haven't sailed on DCL yet so I don't know. :confused3

When I went to Disney though it had all kinds of vouchers and a nice luggage tag etc.

Ahh okay, so it's basically a duplicate of the stuff you fill out on-line then. Like the Cruise contract and stuff?

We still have not received our park tickets for the land portion of this trip. Starting to worry about that.

Your park information should come with your documents.

You won't receive your tickets for the parks though. What Disney does, is your room key will also be your theme park tickets (if you're staying at a Disney resort). There will also be vouchers for the magical express to Disney World. To tell you the truth, you could probably just show up to the hotel you're staying at (if you're renting a car and collecting your own luggage) without having any of your land documents with you.
