DH and I are thinking about a DVC stay in early February. We love the Polynesian villas but read about the renovations at the Poly. I know the monorail station will be closed, but have they announced what will be open? Pools? restaurants? Places to get a glass of wine? When we have stayed there before, we usually walked to TTC to catch the monorail,so we’re fine with that. Just curious about The others?

TIA

They have said nothing about what will be open, and I would doubt they will commit so far out anyway. Right now, we know that none of the 'Ohana or Trader Sam's staff have been recalled save by seniority to go elsewhere. We know the monorail shutdown has not been date-limited in the announcement. The boats aren't running now, but they seem to have been testing them last week.

Pools have been open and we can assume they will be.

Due to the unknown nature of the work on the monorail station and GCH, it is possible they will close Kona and Tambu again at certain points. The pool bars are open, and I'd assume they'd stay that way on limited February pool hours.

To add, there has been no announcement when the Epcot monorail will start up again, so that may or may not be an option come February from the TTC.
