February 2015 Discounts

My family and I are planning a trip Feb 7-13. What discounts are around during that time?? We are going even without one but it sure would be nice!!

Just subscribed to this thread. I'm looking for room only discounts in February. We're currently booked at POP but I've already convinced my husband to upgrade to mod with or without a discount... now I'm just hoping the discounts are decent enough to upgrade to a deluxe. Here's hoping!

We are looking at Feb of 2015 as it will be our 25th anniversary. Hopefully there will be some great discounts available. Although we love the all stars, I'm not sure if that is how I want to spend my trip this time.

Subbing also. We're looking at either January or February, so I'm hopping onto both threads.

I do prefer February. January is too close to Christmas - I like to have time to get excited and really make the most of the lead up. We went once right after Christmas and I was so wrapped up in Christmas that I missed some of the fun of anticipating the trip. I'm hoping for some good deals to come out for late February to convince DH that we need to go back a year later...

You are able to book rack rates over the phone now. I got my dates for mid February. Hopefully a discount will be announced by fall and I can apply that to my ressie.

Subscribed. We're going Feb. 19-25, 2015 and really hoping for discount packages. They didn't do package discounts in 2014 (they did room-only, but we wanted DDP since it was my bf's first trip), but they did 15%-30% in 2013, so I'm really hoping they bring it back.

I think they would let you book the room-only discount as a package if you called. Or so I read earlier today at least. I hope to have some sort of package deal as we are planning on a Jan 31 - Feb 9 trip.

Room only can be booked now if you call. Package rates for 2015 are supposed to be released July 30. As far as discounts, we may have to wait longer for those.

I just checked the mousesavers link for historical discounts and for 2014 it listed a room only discount of 5% - 35% available 1/5/14 - 4/12/14. It doesn't say if any dates were blacked out. Does anyone know if President's week was blacked out for this discount?

Trying to plan our trip- want to go pres week, because ds will only have to miss 2 days of school. If it's usually blacked out, we'll probably go the end of Jan- but that would mean only 4 nights there and ds having to miss 3 days of school.

With packages being released soon, just trying to firm up plans.

I was wondering about blackout dates as well, which MouseSavers doesn't list. I'm going from around 2/19 to 2/25 (dates are somewhat flexible) and I'm running the Princess Half Marathon. I know that weekend might be busy and has the potential to be blacked out. But since we're staying a couple of days after that I didn't know if there would be discounts for those days?

I ran the PHM this year and I got a discount for my trip. I was actually shocked!

We went last year the Weds after president's day through the next Tuesday, and they were offering the 'Stay, Play & Dine' offer. If my memory serves that means all adults paid kid prices for tickets & dining plan, and rooms are rack rates.

I don't remember what the discount was exactly, but I know I got a garden view room package at POR for less than I was going to get a standard room package originally.

Just booked a package for first week of february, hoping for any kind of discount at this point. Its just me and my gf so the damage won't be to bad but every little bit helps.
