I was playing with rates for my 2/2-2/6 trip and decided to play with dates, and rentals for this week and next week from dollar/budget are about 150 total, so that gives me hope that they will lower as it gets closer! Keep checking those rates!

Curious - Who have your rented from to get that $115 rate in February? I will have to keep checking. My trip is Feb 7-13, and the best I've been able to get is National using Emerald club and $25 coupon - total $210.

It's only a 10% discount. At one time I called to tell them the Costco rate was lower than Alamo insider. They basically said oh well book the Costco deal then.

I've now started tracking the week before I get there, which is next week, and rates are down to 133 total for an economy so hopefully that rate will carry through for the following week! I'd love to save $75 from my current rate!

The best deal I have so far is $389.00 for an 11 day trip during Presidents week.. (Through Thrifty for a small SUV) Check out http://www.rentalcarmomma.com/ for coupons.. They have the best so far that I have seen.. Thrifty has a Premium car for $179.00 per week.. Also, I expect that they will go down the week before our trip.. (At least I pray that they do.) Good Luck...

$522.04 is the cheapest for an economy car through Thrifty through that link. I don't understand why they are so high. I check daily and will continue to do so, Thank you though!!!

Me too. Alamo and National are pricing out around $500 for 7 days starting around 2/19. Nuts indeed.

They must have minimal inventory with a lot of cars going our at the start of Presidents Week!

Best I've found so far for my dates was at Hertz, a standard/mid-size car for about $280.

I think the code may have been through Mousesavers. Their monthly newsletter is helpful if you don't already know about it.

Booked offsite for a 2 week rental for $685(Mini Van) through Thrifty. I will keep looking for a MCO rental that is good but I keep getting like 1200-2300 for 2 weeks!!! my flights were $200 each from canada it's insane the pricing. I know the 1/2 Marathon, Presidents Week and the Daytona 500 all fall that time.

Ohhhh Canada? Call and book through Sunwing. $401 for economy and $650 minivan. It's prepaid and they email you the voucher. I haven't done it yet because my price is on par with theirs

After my trip to Cuba through sunwing 2 weeks ago I would be leary to book anything with them again. Amazing trip but horrible service and mistakes in booking by them

We arrive on Feb 4 and the lowest I've had for a standard was today and it's 186 with national and 198 with Alamo.

I just booked Alamo today through Costco for five days during the last week of February and it is $305 for a compact. Ridiculous! I sure hope those rates go down prior to the trip. I have never paid that much to rent a car in Orlando. It's just crazy.

There might be hope for better rates. I just checked through rental momma and I'm switching out my van from thrify for a FORD EXPEDITION EL 4WD or similar with Budget for 691.00 out the door for 2 weeks. still not at MCO but the same suv with the rental momma code at MCO is $3500.00
