If your invited, does it use up one of your fast pass+ for that day? I guess I really don't understand what the BOG fast pass is all about.
According to the Cast Member to whom I spoke:
Disney was sending out a limited number of invites via email to book a FP for BOG for testing purposes. You could also book your meal in advance and it would be ready quickly after you are seated. This FP did not count against your daily total of 3. This invite was originally sent out via email, but when Disney realized that the link was being placed on various boards, they stopped. This is why they created the "list" to check your name against and cancelling folks who were not invited. The CM said that now, they are inviting folks to test this upon check-in.
So, there's still a chance that any of us can be invited as we're checking in, but I'm gonna skip the online FP link and take my chances as a walk-up - unless we are "chosen" as we check in, then we'll do it all "legally" to eliminate the possibility of getting cancelled.
I'm curious to see if this is true. I haven't seen anyone post on any boards or FB pages that they booked a BOG fastpass and then it wasn't honored when they got there. Not doubting that you were told this but I haven't heard this before. I would think Disney would be able to stop anyone who was not "invited" from booking on the website rather than allowing people to book and then have a list of people who will be canceled when they show up.![]()
how did you get to book 2?

I doubt it since Disney has contact information for those who made FP+ reservations for BOG and could have contacted people to cancel those reservations in advance if they wished. Deciding to dump the problem on the CM at the restaurant in a busy theme park is ridiculous.I'm curious to see if this is true.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this or not, but I'm looking to see if anyone will be canceling Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in MK for Feb 7? I of course waited until the last minute to decide if we wanted to spend the extra $ on it and as I expected its full :-(
If you can't make a reservation ahead of time, head to BBB as early as possible and ask about any cancellations. It worked for me this past summer. I was able to get an appt for an hour after I asked. It's worth a try.
Just keep calling to ask about cancellations. You'll likely have luck getting an appt about a week ahead of time. it never hurts to try! We've had success with it in the past.Thank you! I will definitely try that if I can't get one before
